Kill/Death apparently means something around here

EDIT: my point is being missed. I didn't ask if a high ratio makes me a good player, I asked why, when I give an opinion about the game, a typical answer is "your kd sucks stfu you're stupid and don't matter". Pretty sure Bungie would like opinions from everyone, not just good players. Then they know how to reach a wider market. Is that not logical? Mine sucks. Putting that out there to save everyone the time of looking up my profile, seeing it blows and posting it. That said, apparently a high kill/death ratio means your opinions are worth more than mine because "you suck, get good n00b lulz". So, someone explain to me when not being good at this game meant my opinion about the game doesn't matter. This should be good.

  • Because often someone who reads or hears something that disagrees with their opinions will look for the easy route to invalidate another persons opinion rather than try to discuss and debate. Generally I put it down to people being so insecure and self concious that they take any disagreement as personal attack and lash out at the other person. I'd like to say people grow out of it but unfortunately we don't (I say we as I believe everyone does this to one degree or another, the internet just brings it out worse in some people). In PvP that means "proving" (which I use loosely) you're a bad player via low K/D ratio and thus can be ignored.
