EDIT: my point is being missed. I didn't ask if a high ratio makes me a good player, I asked why, when I give an opinion about the game, a typical answer is "your kd sucks stfu you're stupid and don't matter". Pretty sure Bungie would like opinions from everyone, not just good players. Then they know how to reach a wider market. Is that not logical?
Mine sucks. Putting that out there to save everyone the time of looking up my profile, seeing it blows and posting it.
That said, apparently a high kill/death ratio means your opinions are worth more than mine because "you suck, get good n00b lulz".
So, someone explain to me when not being good at this game meant my opinion about the game doesn't matter. This should be good.

KD is child's play... maybe I am saying that because im 26 as opposed to 16 smashing up counter strike. In the crucible ive seen alot of players getting around with great KD ratios... however i have noticed a significant gap between getting a great KD and actually winning the type of match you are in. Would be nice to one day see a pvp system which acknowledges strategy over running around spamming special abilities or taking advantage of noobs in beta. The ranking/match making system will fix that right up in the full version of the game - you will see people coming up against better matched opponents and their super awesome KD Ratio will dreadfully fall to where it should be. Head up mate, strategy makes the game more satisfying.
