Want to use knifes? Go help your mum in the kitchen, there are vegetables to cut for soup...
Really, have u ever heard "dont bring a kife to a gun fight"?
Well, it goes double for energy power weapons.
Geeeesus....

Hunters do it. And I've gotten plenty of kills with melee and throwing knife. With Bladedancer, there'll be even more knifeplay

Yeh well the guy facing him doesn't have an energy shield on. You can't compare this to Destiny because it's a completely different time and technology. With things like an energy shield it'll take a whole clip to deplete the shield of energy and kill him let's say. But that is enough time for a person with an energy sword to run up to him and slice his head off where as in Indiana Jones, it takes one bullet to take someone's life.
-
I was not comparing, I was making a point. The point is, at long/middle range, swords are useless. (in Destiny, Halo, Fable or the real life. In close quarters? Diferent ball game. Sword FTW! ;)
-
PS: besides, if Indy shots three rounds in the head, at THAT range, with THAT revolver's calliber, the guy's shield would not save him. He could run, only to die....tired...
-
Lol stars wars the Jedi use them perfectly fine and are always in gun fights lol just saying
-
In StarWars. Ok. Now, try to use a energy sword to deflect a beam rifle shot in Halo...
-
Obviously didn't use energy sword well...
-
Oh, but I do...in Reach! Swordbase Blue lift! Running Riot! But never touched the thing in Halo 3, in The Pit, you get my idea?

Edited by Henry Paterson: 7/24/2014 1:20:39 PMI just don't understand why the enemies carry swords, some duel wield infact- surely you should be able to pick them up? And wouldn't that be better than a little knife? I mean some are shrouded in electricity? Makes sense to me to use one of them if I kill an opponent wielding one?
-
Ok...my major reason. Thanks , Professor Jones.

No offense intended. If any, accept m appologies. It is your choice, off course, to use whatever weapons you like to fully enjoy the experience. My bad. And I help my wife in the kitchen every single day and do not consider it rude...; )

yeah, I heard... and you have heard playable options? that you know it is to have options, right? if I bring a sword to a gunfight should be my choice. that would make a much bigger destiny I do not understand the negativity to a more playable option if you do not like it do not use them, but are there for the want and do not mention the mothers of others, that is rude
