The Devil Walkers take way too long to kill!

The Fallen tanks [i]way[/i] too long to kill! I ran into one by myself on the free roam mission and spent almost half an hour whittling it down. Not even Scarabs were that tough! There are a few ways I can see to change this, like having a higher heavy weapon ammo capacity, or having the heavy weapons deal more damage, but the simplest solution seems to be just reduce the tank's health... by a lot. They'd still be offensive juggernauts but fighting them wouldn't be quite so tedious. Of course, I have only fought two, so maybe it's not really a huge problem... though other people have expressed similar thoughts... Any ideas?

  • During alpha they were even harder and I thought this same thing but you need to focus on the legs, try and focus on one. Don't waste your super. Them when you destroy a leg the tank goes into a stance that you cannot miss. When this happens you will see the cover come off his head and his brain is basically exposed. Use everything you got at that point to hurt him, supers, heavy weapons, grenade, throwing knife(hunter). Everything!! He cannot hurt you while he's down like this. You'll start seeing movement and hearing some metal clash when it's time to back away. Grab yourself a sniper rifle and scout rifle and go back to those legs while keeping some distance. Should take no more than 15 minutes to kill him on your own this way.
