I know the level cap is 20. But i really feel like it would be WAY to easy to hit the level cap. Noting that there are 2 expansion packs and an obvious 3rd subclass. I wouldn't doubt that Bungie has something up their sleeves. Maybe an update to the cap. Or an add on level increase like in Borderlands 2

Level 20 is the soft level cap. You will continue to level up past level 20, but there is apparently something else required then just XP grinding.

Bungie already stated that the level cap is low because they don't want people grinding for hours on end and miss out on end-game content before reaching that point. It's a smart idea, in my opinion. Once you hit level cap, you have armor, weapons, and another subclass to upgrade. Plus you will most likely have A LOT more stuff than that to do in the final release.

Ah, hopefully I do want to have many things to do and reasons to keep at it for quite awhile. Now if only I could juggle this and the other huge games coming out this holiday season, lol.

If they honestly want the game to last 2 years, then I'm sure they'll put plenty of content in. I know the feeling, too many games to get.

True, I still haven't finished 3 of my games that I got last fall/Christmas either. I know what I'm doing till late august.

Who knows for sure. would be nice to have an increase later on. But I have heard(no official source) that the leveling in the beta is accelerated.
