Unless Bungie has something up their sleeves with vendors, I don't see the need for this. Sure it will nice at first, but once you hit the level cap, which shouldn't take that long, you will start acquiring a host of legendary and exotic weapons and armor, at which point the vendors, at this point, seem like they will be useless. The only ones that I can foresee being relevant have really long restock times (1 day and 1 week), so you can always hop on for at least a couple minutes. As far as vacations go, well deal with it. That is part of vacation.
