Why do we as gamers make this so hard to enjoy? I'm seriously curious as to where this sense of entitlement has come from.
I'm starting to see that a false sense of entitlement is just a human trait. In my line of work I see it all to often yet I'm the one who comes with a stereotype because of the profession I chose. Drives me crazy

If it's retail, I'm in the same boat. Been doing it since I was old enough to work, and I have basically learned to hate people because I know they are looking to screw me over secretly.

I'm in corrections. And it's definitely a human trait. These crooks here think they are entitled to every d*mn thing.

You're in a special case, being in corrections. Because what the inmates are getting is paid for, completely free. So the entitlement is even more pronounced.

Edited by ArchLT Bailey: 7/23/2014 12:04:16 PMHa it's more like they feel very entitled to break/bend all the rules and they will hide that entitlement to break the rules behind a mask of: But look at all this other crap I don't do and you're worried about me trafficking and trading? You're worried about my contraband? I don't go out there beating bosses up! It's that sense of entitlement that irks the living crap out of me. When I see people feeling entitled to things elsewhere. It aggravates me. I mean jeez.... By it's very nature, to feel entitled to something is to feel like you deserve something that you dont How often do you hear people actually getting what their entitled in a positive sense?

Believe me. Know one is prison ever think "But look at all this free stuff I'm getting!"

Haha so true.

Yup, I sell cars actually but it's still technically retailing them. I did however work in and manage retail stores like Just for feet, media play, and Gamestop from ages 16-31. People man geez lol
