Because God is real and the people who choose not to believe in God or try to hide the exisistance of him are mad because they blame Him for all the suffering in their life or whatever is wrong. Basicly ignorance.. compared to someone who has read the bible and gone to a chrisian school and knows and understands a little better than they do. And sadly the only thing we can do as Christians is pray for them and try to talk to them and help those other people. God will do the rest (:

I agree to disagree because he could very good be real i belief partly in him my self, bu't i am from a non beliefing family and their is no proof he realy exist bu't of course their is also no proof he doesn't exist so is actuly a dilema. Their is a realy good chance that their is a afterlife and that their is a greater thing that creat us bu't i dont belief it stil controls us and i wouldn't say that people who don't belief in god are ingnorent they can do great things

I never said I could prove he doesn't exist. I don't believe in the bible at all or in the Christian version of god. To say I [b]know[/b] god doesn't exist is just as stupid as someone saying they [b]know[/b] he does exist. The bottom line is this: [b][i][u]We don't know how we came to exist.[/u][/i][/b] It's a scary thought to think we're floating around on a rapidly spinning rock and we're all alone. Christians cling to that idea because it makes them comfortable. Atheists cling to their ideas because it gives them the same sense of comfort; the feeling that they understand what is going on. People like to tell themselves whatever makes them feel better

No need for long drawn out religious rans about a book written by men under the order of Constantine through The Council of Nicaea, but that is beyond the point.. Bungie wants this to be a gaming forum not a religious forum. I do agree that the gay dude shouldn't get special treatment either. At the end of the day we are all united, in one way at least, we are all gamers. Lets all just get along and enjoy the game together!

I was referring to debating their religion. They base their belief in the book off of faith, instead of truth. I do however agree that you shouldn't be persecuted for your beliefs.

I went to a christian school, i went to church every sunday by choice. I even went onto the altar in the white gowns and stuff. I've read the bible, book of mormon, qu'ran, Guru Granth Sahib and even gone in deep with Hellenism and other ancient religions. I can tell you in no small terms religion is bollocks. it's the same story retold through history with name changes. I guarantee that if there is a god it is not the Christian god. Belief no matter how much you believe does not make it true. Fear of none existence is as illogical as fear of rainbows (Iridophobia). Don't believe something until you have proof

and its this exactly, this whole topic is why i believe were all better off without religion, look at the problems just the mention of it starts, because no, christians or even anyone with some sort of religous ideals are not in any way tolerant, at least the vast majority are quite intolerant. that whole live and let live and all that never truelly existed, because as long as we can separate ourselves into different groups of belief we'll always have something people want to fight other people into believing, even if theres no proof that this belief is beneficial in any way....

religion is based on.. no better yet it is faith, you believe something exists without proof because a book and a bunch of random people tell you its true because they believe it too. faith.. this topics giving me a huge headache, brain usage in this topic is sadly one sided
