[b]TOP 10 THINGS Bungie MUST FIX in Destiny![/b] [I]Hope DeeJ or one of the other Bungie crew actually read this![/I] 1. [b] Waypoints[/b] - When pressing the point button you should be able to set a waypoint that everyone can see, and have it appear on HUD with a range (in meters). These waypoints should also change depending on the object. Waypointing a Fallen, HIve, etc should give a red "ENEMY" waypoint, green "LOOT" for item drops, yellow "CHEST" for chests, purple "VEHICLE" for pikes, interceptors, etc, blue "GHOST" for dead ghosts, and white or grey "WAYPOINT" for everything else such as the ground, a roof, walls, etc. All waypoints should be removable by clicking the waypoint button a second time and not disappear automatically unless 5 minutes pass without response. These may also be useful in PvP with a much quicker half life of around 5 seconds, allowing teams to "tag" important things like enemy snipers, ammo, hiding spots, etc. 2. [b]Increase Freeroam cap to 6 players[/b] - After running with a 6 man team in Crucible, sometimes we need a break and want to head to freeroam to run around and chill out. Or maybe one of us found a cool thing and wants to share. Or maybe we all want to partake on a full scale dead ghost/treasure hunt. It sucks to boot 3 of our friends out especially when we have 5 players and 20 mintutes to kill waiting for our 6th man to join us for an event like Iron Banner. 3. [b]Enable Single Player[/b] - Many times I was paired with noobs or kids that rushed ahead and ignored chests/loot when going into strikes. Or even worse the kids that were idle or hid from battle, just there to steal exp and rewards. Enable the option to run strikes and set them to solo, invite only, friends only, and public. 4. [b]Enable RANKED and SOCIAL modes, or Disable team splitting[/b] - Tired of having my 6 man fireteam split up and forced to fight each other. More often than not when this happens kids sabotage their team to help their friends. At least stop this in Ranked matches. Id prefer not to see it at all, ever. 5. [b]Shared LOOT drops[/b] - when an engram, weapon, or consumable drops it should be universal, AT THE VERY LEAST to your fireteam. It should not disappear after pickup, but rather turn translucent so that players can set waypoints on the loot for their friends. 6. [b]Loot Chest Rework[/b] - These chests have set respawn locations which is nice, except when they spawn in unreachable places. They should be openable from any angle just by approach rather than the very Zelda-like walk up to the front and manually open. They need longer half lives as they disappear way too fast, so they can be shared with teammates. They need better gear most importantly, scaled to the players currently equipped gear and level. Gear that has stat effects should be all that chests give such as an uncommon rifle with a fast reload perk. And increase the amount of glimmer, even if its random. For example one chest gives 130 while another gives 870. 7. [b]Realtime In-game mini-maps and large maps[/b] - Allow pressing a button or two simultaneously to activate maps with realtime data such as player location, vehicles, objectives, waypoints, etc. Many Guardians get lost in Destiny. This need not be the case. Also infinitely more important than a button to "wave hi". 8. [b]Player Names on/under Ships in Load Screens[/b] - Bungie... why would we buy ship skins if nobody knows that's our ship? Come on now. 9. [b]Spawn Next To Team after Join In Progress[/b] - The worst part of freeroam or accepting an invite to a mission is spawning at the first part of the map and having to travel manually while fighting annoying enemies solo until you reach your team by then they either failed or completed the objective. Please fix this to at least spawn in the same general area or at one of several visible LZs (landing zones). 10. [b]Inventory Rework[/b] - first allow players to view all items and gear in a players inventory (not bank, keep that private). If my friend has 4 exotic rifles a legendary shotgun and fusion rifle, 25000 glimmer and 200 ether seeds Id like to see please. Second keep item levels always visible. I hate how it disappears how can I know what to store for my other guardians? My level 8 hunter views a level 6 gun the same as a level 8 yet my level 1 Titan sees their true level. Also this helps when comparing gear with other players. Third show how much glimmer the gear is worth and what youll receive by breaking it down BEFORE you break it down and are sorely disappointed. Also give a warning prompt when trying to dismantle Exotics or Legendries to prevent accidents. Lastly- show a number indicating if you already own the gear and how many. Bungie you made a good game.         1. I agree on being able to create way points. 2. 3 is just fine for me. when you get 8 friends who want to come along with you. You will want them to bump it up to 8. 3 is nice and cozy. 3.Um no, This is a online game not a single player game. Why Do people keep asking for single player game for a online game? This is not Halo where you go in single player for story and do pvp for multiplayer! This is more like a mmo where it is online. All these Halo fans used to single player games finally get a online game and they want to change the game to single player. 4. wait what? I thought we were only allowed to have 3 people in a fireteam when you enter a pvp. 5.What you see on the ground for loot is what you see and get.. other people get other stuff or less or more. Its not where a boot drops, and everyone gets the boots. Its all different items and amount of drops. 6. I have not come across that yet. 7. I don't want a map. I love how it is... The only time you get lost is free roaming and you can just go to orbit and find spot your looking for. Quests you have way points to follow. For I, I never got lost yet. That is just me though. I don't think there should be a map. Finding your way around the area to other places is what makes it so much fun! 8. Serious you are complaining about this? lol Oooo they don't know who is flying my ship. You know just seeing different skins on loading screen is awesome. I don't need to know who is driving that ship. Get off the high chair. 9. Lazy 10. You want to see the items why? What will that do for you.. If they do put trading system in... is because you want to beg for Glimmer seeds or a weapon? pffft Edit for #10: I don't need some snoop looking on what I have in my inventory. What is in my pockets and under my clothing my personal. I'm not an asari stripper.

        • i agree with all of that i also think they should just get rid of the moon first light map it is just to big and you see way to many people sat at the back behind some rocks with a sniper the other thing is the interceptor i understand why it was added it is just a bit to annoying with two on the enemy side sat behind your spawn

Reclaim.[/u][/quote] No. 1. The whole point of the game is that it is MMO. 2. That you are helping humanity fight it's way out of a second Dark Age. The Darkness destroyed our civilization, everywhere but in the Last City. Not only are Guardians trying defend Humanity, they are helping to *rediscover* the civilization that got destroyed. It not really Lost World if there is map showing you how to get everywhere.... 3. Diablo 3 tried to let players buy and trade objects. And it was an EPIC failure. Bungie wants only one way to get the best gear. Earn on the battlefield or in The Crucible. Needs to stay that way. No shortcuts.

                • The first time a started the strike it didn't matchmake me with anyone i was alone. The first 20 minutes were easy fighting waves of fallen waiting for my ghost to hack the thing wasn't hard but not easy. Then the devil walker... He was literally impossible i tried a few times but the enemies kept respawning and his focus was always on me. I think the key to defeat a devil walker is to split its focus and hit him from multiple sides at once. My point, strikes are impossible solo

                  • [b]2. Increase Freeroam cap to 6 players[/b] I would really love this. Teamsize is to small in that mode. Bungie made it cause of that Public Events i think, but it isnt a good choice. Making the Public Events more challenging, when more people are there would be a good idea. So in a 6-man-fireteam you can only do Raids, PvP and Tower (in full-version). I dont like that. For Strikes and Story it is absolutely okay and fun with 3 people in the squad.

                              • These aren't so much fixes as your opinion on how the game should run, a fix would be that the vanguard tokens aren't working or shooting a gun at someone and it kills you, things that almost everyone will agree upon is a problem...                                 • i totaly agree with u i hate being left out when my mates are free roaming and i cant get into the same game as them all we wanna do is walk round together explore and have more fun with a range of or friends but for campaign missions 3 is just fine

                                      • Agree on a lot of these especially the fireteam limit for campaign missions and free roam. I think it needs to be 1-6 not 1-3. I really hope Bungie consider this.

                                          All of these points are fantastic. The ability to join a friends world would be nice. Even if their fireteam is full, you could still all play together. Either that or increase Explore mode fireteam size.

                                          • All of them seem like good points, just hope they will handle the trading part. This can really break or make it.. I hope they improve the companion app. Especially with private messages and clan invites it can become a hassle. I receive a private message stating 'xxx wants to join your clan'. Then i go to my groups page, dont see the invite. Have to wait 5 minutes, invite appears, i accept it, but it stays in pending invites. All the while my app keeps giving me the notification i have a new message. Which we all know is the most annoying, the little red icon with a number in it on iphone, above the app...

                                              • I see your point with the waypoints. However i don't think they should tag ghosts, loot, or enemies. Also, I like the current system if separate loot threads. All the drops are mine. I don't want to pick up a titan helmet if I am a hunter. Especially if I cannot even sell it or trade it. However i do like your whole idea regarding opening a chest from any direction. But they should add that once it's open you just need to be within a certain radius to collect like the heavy ammo in crucible hands out even if you don't open it.

                                                • I couldn't agree more about the desire for an increased Fireteam size. I (somewhat) understand the 3-player limit for Strikes but Exploring should be almost as big as you want. Why is it okay for me (and my 2 friends) to roam around Old Russia with 3 or 4 other randoms but not with a Fireteam made up of the same total amount of players (i.e. 6)? The fact that this has been a discussion before the Beta (and Alpha) was even released indicates there is much concern in the community: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/64927990/0/0/1

                                                  • Bump cause I agree. I also think overall loot drops needs to be increased and the loot itself.. The glow should brighter/taller. It's sometimes hard to see or find the loot with all the ammo drops.
