[b]TOP 10 THINGS Bungie MUST FIX in Destiny![/b] [I]Hope DeeJ or one of the other Bungie crew actually read this![/I] 1. [b] Waypoints[/b] - When pressing the point button you should be able to set a waypoint that everyone can see, and have it appear on HUD with a range (in meters). These waypoints should also change depending on the object. Waypointing a Fallen, HIve, etc should give a red "ENEMY" waypoint, green "LOOT" for item drops, yellow "CHEST" for chests, purple "VEHICLE" for pikes, interceptors, etc, blue "GHOST" for dead ghosts, and white or grey "WAYPOINT" for everything else such as the ground, a roof, walls, etc. All waypoints should be removable by clicking the waypoint button a second time and not disappear automatically unless 5 minutes pass without response. These may also be useful in PvP with a much quicker half life of around 5 seconds, allowing teams to "tag" important things like enemy snipers, ammo, hiding spots, etc. 2. [b]Increase Freeroam cap to 6 players[/b] - After running with a 6 man team in Crucible, sometimes we need a break and want to head to freeroam to run around and chill out. Or maybe one of us found a cool thing and wants to share. Or maybe we all want to partake on a full scale dead ghost/treasure hunt. It sucks to boot 3 of our friends out especially when we have 5 players and 20 mintutes to kill waiting for our 6th man to join us for an event like Iron Banner. 3. [b]Enable Single Player[/b] - Many times I was paired with noobs or kids that rushed ahead and ignored chests/loot when going into strikes. Or even worse the kids that were idle or hid from battle, just there to steal exp and rewards. Enable the option to run strikes and set them to solo, invite only, friends only, and public. 4. [b]Enable RANKED and SOCIAL modes, or Disable team splitting[/b] - Tired of having my 6 man fireteam split up and forced to fight each other. More often than not when this happens kids sabotage their team to help their friends. At least stop this in Ranked matches. Id prefer not to see it at all, ever. 5. [b]Shared LOOT drops[/b] - when an engram, weapon, or consumable drops it should be universal, AT THE VERY LEAST to your fireteam. It should not disappear after pickup, but rather turn translucent so that players can set waypoints on the loot for their friends. 6. [b]Loot Chest Rework[/b] - These chests have set respawn locations which is nice, except when they spawn in unreachable places. They should be openable from any angle just by approach rather than the very Zelda-like walk up to the front and manually open. They need longer half lives as they disappear way too fast, so they can be shared with teammates. They need better gear most importantly, scaled to the players currently equipped gear and level. Gear that has stat effects should be all that chests give such as an uncommon rifle with a fast reload perk. And increase the amount of glimmer, even if its random. For example one chest gives 130 while another gives 870. 7. [b]Realtime In-game mini-maps and large maps[/b] - Allow pressing a button or two simultaneously to activate maps with realtime data such as player location, vehicles, objectives, waypoints, etc. Many Guardians get lost in Destiny. This need not be the case. Also infinitely more important than a button to "wave hi". 8. [b]Player Names on/under Ships in Load Screens[/b] - Bungie... why would we buy ship skins if nobody knows that's our ship? Come on now. 9. [b]Spawn Next To Team after Join In Progress[/b] - The worst part of freeroam or accepting an invite to a mission is spawning at the first part of the map and having to travel manually while fighting annoying enemies solo until you reach your team by then they either failed or completed the objective. Please fix this to at least spawn in the same general area or at one of several visible LZs (landing zones). 10. [b]Inventory Rework[/b] - first allow players to view all items and gear in a players inventory (not bank, keep that private). If my friend has 4 exotic rifles a legendary shotgun and fusion rifle, 25000 glimmer and 200 ether seeds Id like to see please. Second keep item levels always visible. I hate how it disappears how can I know what to store for my other guardians? My level 8 hunter views a level 6 gun the same as a level 8 yet my level 1 Titan sees their true level. Also this helps when comparing gear with other players. Third show how much glimmer the gear is worth and what youll receive by breaking it down BEFORE you break it down and are sorely disappointed. Also give a warning prompt when trying to dismantle Exotics or Legendries to prevent accidents. Lastly- show a number indicating if you already own the gear and how many. Bungie you made a good game.   • I think having a map completely ruins that feeling if exploration. Another idea for this is your could be able to "tag" your friends so you can see their user name above their head anywhere on the map.

      • I agree. Waypoints would help but only in a strike team. Either that or spawning close to each other. But definitely i don't need or want so many different types of waypoints or a live map with all players. So making drops universal is a terrible idea It completely ruins the experience of finding a variety of gear and having individual experiences. Just because you or your friend happened to get a rare drop doesn't mean you should. I've also never come across a loot chest I had to struggle to get to. So not sure what you're talking about there. Last of all. Looking at a person's inventory should only be implemented if it possible to also make it private. The other stuff seemed like good ideas.

      • For # 5 and 6, all the loot is personal to your person. The only shared chests are the ammo crates in the crucible.

        • You can view a friends inventory- A) if your on a fireteam use the roster menu B) if they're on your friend list you can use bungie.net to look at their profile and use the side bar.

            • i agree with some to some extant... i think for ur clause #2 making cap 6 would be nice but i also think they should allow us to link to other fireteams like an alpha bravo sort of thing, making teams much bigger

                • Good points, but about 10, you can inspect a guardian's equipment bu pressing R3 to "select them", then press start and then "inspect".

                      None of these things matter to me. The only thing I care about is that Bungie fixes the reloading to be more realistic. In Halo: Reach, Halo 4, and Battlefield, you don't have to charge the bolt unless you reload an empty mag, just like in real life. But in Destiny, you have to cock the handle every time you reload, even if you have a round chambered. i don't understand this step backward. PLEASE fix this! Without this simple mechanic, the game just feels so much less polished to me.

                      • great ideas all seem great to me. The only thing I personally want added to the main game though will probably never happen I have both a PS4 and Xbox One. Im getting both versions to play with friends. I am hoping but I know its wishful thinking. that I could even purchase some sort of pass to have my character transfer between the two versions. I realize the Ps4 will have exclusive stuff so that aspect doesn't need to carry over just really my character the level currently and just even my main weapon. this is all I want but if not oh well guess im just rolling two separate. Main reason I want this feature I maybe warlock in both versions. its going to be awfully hard to go to my inferior warlock ...lol im just stubborn I guess

                          I agree on most points. Not 5 &10 though. But splitting friends in crucible is lame. What's the excuse? They would be to powerful coordinating together? Well, from what I experienced game put good players on one team, and weaker ones at the other. So for about thirty matches I had one (1) that was a close call, the rest was a steam roll one way or the other. And I want to play with my friends not against them. And actually, this happening(splitting groups and friends) seams like programmers can't handle this topic, not as a feature. Especially in team oriented game (desperatly trying not to point to Dice and failing as hard as their coding team) And I would add eleventh point to the list. This isn't problem in PvE, but bugs me in Crucible. Weapon balance. Every one uses Auto Rifles as they are the best ones, nothing else comes close. People uses shotguns and snipers as secondary almost exclusively. And Heavy... I never seen it used by another, and myself used it once. The gimmick with losing all of it after death seams wired. My point is exept the three weapons mentioned I was killed just once by a different gun. And my runs with pulse and scout rifles was bad, everyone was stomping me in to the ground, and simple change to Auto rifle made me a good player without any adjustment and learning time. And the vehicles are to powerful and silent. I was ambushed by the tank as I couldn't hear it from ten feet. And if they are so fast, tough, and powerful maybe they shouldn't have the ability to rise their guns so high up in the air? And I don't know if it was my problem or the games, but the laggs! Dudes! It was sad, as I've seen enemies in place A but they already was in the place B with their hitboxes and aiming at me giving me instant kills. Well, that's that. I like the PvE, but Crucible frustrated me. To the point I recalled Battlefield4 state at launch... :( Changing to Auto rifle was a kind of solution though. Hope that Destiny will not disappoint, as this is my last pre-order at all, and I don't want to lose hope in Bungie and the industry as a whole. Be our bright star ;)

                          • For me they can screw up anything they want but the sensitivity cap is a joke! I am elitist fps on bf4 and on destiny lvl 10 sensitivity is for beginners.. and an even bigger issue when you sprint your sensitivity drops EVEN MORE?? on all other ps4 fps the sensitivity doesn't change when sprinting and moving analog stick less to turn drops it if needed. I know you are new to playstation consoles but this sensitivity is for kids not veteran players. Please fix or I have to cancel pre order.

                                I like all of those options. Some other things would be [b] to increase the controller sensitivity[/b]. 10 is just not fast enough. [b]A full view map with the ability to set waypoints[/b] [b]a centered crosshair, maybe back the FOV up a little bit[/b] [b]Facial Hair[/b]

                                • Loot is not shared and it never should be. It's individual only you can pick up loot in your world. Which removes the borderlands effect where you have to argue over who wants that gun. In destiny if you pick it up it's yours. But guess what. Everyone else gets the exact same loot you did. Provided they go to the loot box and open it. Each player may only open it once I believe.

                                  • i like most of those idea it would be good that bungie give it a though i would had one thing though In the alpha you could choose the difficulty in story mode and in strike wich was independant from your level not like now. It was much better when choosing hard you could really see the difference there were a lot of yellow fallen in strike or more captain.

                                            • I agree with everything you say but I'd add: more weapon types e.g: smg, hmg and so on and the ability to have a secondary weapon that doesn't require special ammo.
