[b]TOP 10 THINGS Bungie MUST FIX in Destiny![/b] [I]Hope DeeJ or one of the other Bungie crew actually read this![/I] 1. [b] Waypoints[/b] - When pressing the point button you should be able to set a waypoint that everyone can see, and have it appear on HUD with a range (in meters). These waypoints should also change depending on the object. Waypointing a Fallen, HIve, etc should give a red "ENEMY" waypoint, green "LOOT" for item drops, yellow "CHEST" for chests, purple "VEHICLE" for pikes, interceptors, etc, blue "GHOST" for dead ghosts, and white or grey "WAYPOINT" for everything else such as the ground, a roof, walls, etc. All waypoints should be removable by clicking the waypoint button a second time and not disappear automatically unless 5 minutes pass without response. These may also be useful in PvP with a much quicker half life of around 5 seconds, allowing teams to "tag" important things like enemy snipers, ammo, hiding spots, etc. 2. [b]Increase Freeroam cap to 6 players[/b] - After running with a 6 man team in Crucible, sometimes we need a break and want to head to freeroam to run around and chill out. Or maybe one of us found a cool thing and wants to share. Or maybe we all want to partake on a full scale dead ghost/treasure hunt. It sucks to boot 3 of our friends out especially when we have 5 players and 20 mintutes to kill waiting for our 6th man to join us for an event like Iron Banner. 3. [b]Enable Single Player[/b] - Many times I was paired with noobs or kids that rushed ahead and ignored chests/loot when going into strikes. Or even worse the kids that were idle or hid from battle, just there to steal exp and rewards. Enable the option to run strikes and set them to solo, invite only, friends only, and public. 4. [b]Enable RANKED and SOCIAL modes, or Disable team splitting[/b] - Tired of having my 6 man fireteam split up and forced to fight each other. More often than not when this happens kids sabotage their team to help their friends. At least stop this in Ranked matches. Id prefer not to see it at all, ever. 5. [b]Shared LOOT drops[/b] - when an engram, weapon, or consumable drops it should be universal, AT THE VERY LEAST to your fireteam. It should not disappear after pickup, but rather turn translucent so that players can set waypoints on the loot for their friends. 6. [b]Loot Chest Rework[/b] - These chests have set respawn locations which is nice, except when they spawn in unreachable places. They should be openable from any angle just by approach rather than the very Zelda-like walk up to the front and manually open. They need longer half lives as they disappear way too fast, so they can be shared with teammates. They need better gear most importantly, scaled to the players currently equipped gear and level. Gear that has stat effects should be all that chests give such as an uncommon rifle with a fast reload perk. And increase the amount of glimmer, even if its random. For example one chest gives 130 while another gives 870. 7. [b]Realtime In-game mini-maps and large maps[/b] - Allow pressing a button or two simultaneously to activate maps with realtime data such as player location, vehicles, objectives, waypoints, etc. Many Guardians get lost in Destiny. This need not be the case. Also infinitely more important than a button to "wave hi". 8. [b]Player Names on/under Ships in Load Screens[/b] - Bungie... why would we buy ship skins if nobody knows that's our ship? Come on now. 9. [b]Spawn Next To Team after Join In Progress[/b] - The worst part of freeroam or accepting an invite to a mission is spawning at the first part of the map and having to travel manually while fighting annoying enemies solo until you reach your team by then they either failed or completed the objective. Please fix this to at least spawn in the same general area or at one of several visible LZs (landing zones). 10. [b]Inventory Rework[/b] - first allow players to view all items and gear in a players inventory (not bank, keep that private). If my friend has 4 exotic rifles a legendary shotgun and fusion rifle, 25000 glimmer and 200 ether seeds Id like to see please. Second keep item levels always visible. I hate how it disappears how can I know what to store for my other guardians? My level 8 hunter views a level 6 gun the same as a level 8 yet my level 1 Titan sees their true level. Also this helps when comparing gear with other players. Third show how much glimmer the gear is worth and what youll receive by breaking it down BEFORE you break it down and are sorely disappointed. Also give a warning prompt when trying to dismantle Exotics or Legendries to prevent accidents. Lastly- show a number indicating if you already own the gear and how many. Bungie you made a good game.     • Also a map of the area and the ability to set way points on the map would be nice. You would have to discover an area for yourself before it's on the map, much like borderlands 2

            • #3 has already had a fix since the Beta launched. I always have my invites and pairing set to friends only.....not sure how you haven't found that option. I've never been paired with anyone automatically unless I've accepted or sent an invite. I agree with the following: [b]4. I was in a fireteam with a friend I had been soloing missions and the strike with (2 man army for the win) and then we go to do some cooperative Crucible (With our microphones still on to help strategies as we sniped unsuspecting Warlocks) only to find out we were suddenly on opposing teams and STILL ABLE TO HEAR EACH OTHER! What the hell? O.o ....so now unless I want to turn off my microphone and play silent, he get's to hear everything I say to my teammates for that particular match and vice versa. This needs to have some sort of work around.*[/i] [b]6.5. Chest spawn reworking[/b]. [i] *I think the chests should spawn facing towards the players primary point of access. Too often I have found a chest on a building top or pipeline only to have it facing the wrong way and have to jump on top of it (provided there's enough space) so I can look down at the lock and open it. -_- *[/i] [b]7. Real Time Maps[/b] [i]*This should be mandatory. As the OP has stated, many guardians have gotten lost. No digital map that can be opened up from the Ghost's collective memory? Not even a compass? We should be able to know where we are in correlation to where we are going and what we are doing. Like some of the objectives are WAY in another zone and it's hard to calculate just what zone it's in without a map. I'd like to know where I am and where that one straggler who decided to hang back and pick off Fallen went to....*[/i] [b]8 Ship/Player Names[/b] [i]*The OP really DOES have a point.....I absolutely love the ship I bought.....but shy of bragging about it through voice or holding up my entire team to log out to PSN and send a message.....no one knows it's mine. If we're allowed to buy sweet looking ships for the sake of decorative purposes; we should know who they belong to. Show their name only until you drop into orbit and break atmosphere. Then take them away for that more realistic approach as you listen to the briefing or head to the surface.*[/i] [b]9. Spawn NEAR your Fireteam[/b] [i]*Many threads about this. In the Destiny Reveal trailer you showed us.....YOU showed us....a team member dropping from their ship right in front of the player before the mission started. Then you showed us again as the third member, a Titan, joined later on in the mission in a different place. Swooped in and deposited the player. So...uh.....where did that go? Why am I forced to go back to orbit when someone joins my team....or I join someones team? What happened to that just zone in and continue where they left off mechanic? If I/we/they WANTED to go back to orbit; we know how to do it and will do it at our convenience.*[/i]

                1. Ok 2. It wont happen because mission will be way to easy to complete 3. Kick system and why the hell we spawn to far away from the first part of the strike ? I basically run to the first part and suicide so that my teamm8 quit jerking off with mobs that DROP nothing. 4. PvP is simply chaotic and Bungie have A LOT of work to do [b]5. NO SHAORE, NO TRADE, STOP CRYING ABOUT IT, IF YOU WANT TO DO SOME SHARE/TRADE GO BACK TO YOUR GOLD FARMING SIMULATION PAY TO WIN BULLSHIT! PEOPLE ARE SELLING ON EBAY TRADING CODES ALREADY[/b] 6 every one can reach it, while jumping just hold the square... but ya you are right some chest seem to be Class designated. 7. I Guess 8. who cares ? look at the player profile 9. next to you, hell no, spawn in the general area yes 10. No, thx, or put an option to keep everything private.

                • It would also be nice if the message that you can press the touch screen and then the triangle button to go into orbit would disappear after a while... it really crowds out the beautiful view of the last safe city on Earth.

                • Wow, these are all very reasonable requests. I'm most of board with having more people in free roam. I wanted to play with 3 friends a couple of days ago and there really isn't any way to do so. The Crucible didn't even put us on the same team. This game basically limits you to 2 friends.

                    • I can see why people might not want a map but it could be very useful to mark your party. Could also be an option that a player could disable if they want to be immersed. Also I keep losing my fire team members in explore. Markers vanish sometimes. A tracker that displays how far away they are shouldn't be too hard to include. In explore we can see how far away the side missions are before we select one. So adding distance for our team as well as objectives shouldn't be too hard to include - then we know if we can hoof it or should spawn our landspeeders.

                      • Strongly disagree with 3, 5, 6, and 10. _Definitely_ can't be any MMO at all if you make Strikes single player! I don't want anyone to see my glimmer balance, etc - wth. That's private. Loot system is great - you always know everything is yours. 6 - agree with longer half time and accessibility, but chests are many so great gear they give should not.

                        • IMO a lot of these ideas are horrendous and will ruin the game! Think about it; do you really want (or need) a fire team member to highlight a target or waypoint that tells you the EXACT location and distance in meters? Thats no fun at all; showing the range in meters will make the open worlds seem a lot smaller, and takes away from the adventure. Please go. I understand your points but I am a Halo fan and a bungie fan. (if halo4 is your favorite halo, you may have not been there when halo 1 and 2 came out. I like bungie games because of the ADVENTURE. I want to have to tell my teammate, hey, he's over there, between the blah blah building and the cliffside. I don't want some target reticle that takes away the fun. Play battlefield if you like that.

                          • I think having a map completely ruins that feeling if exploration. Another idea for this is your could be able to "tag" your friends so you can see their user name above their head anywhere on the map.

                                • You can view a friends inventory- A) if your on a fireteam use the roster menu B) if they're on your friend list you can use bungie.net to look at their profile and use the side bar.

                                        • Pls no to all the above, specially a mini-map or a better waypoint system. this is a game, not some "quickly get to max lvl and have tons of stuff to do" game the game is to get lost and explore, a fire team should stay together, if you are playing with pugs, then drop em and find new guys, use a mic perhaps and let ppl know yourself where you are or where you are going. the loot system is very good and very well done, it gives you what you need at that lvl, sure it may not be an upgrade but thats why doing strikes and beacon missions are great for farming, the goal is after all to keep you in the game. streamlining a game to accommodate to ppl who have a hard time, is not fun, nor is it making the game easier. a game should have a learning curve, like how learning to shoot the devil walker in the legs takes it down quicker or in pvp by playing the objective. its not like the game is super fast paced, you need a character name/info R3 and inspect, why do you need to see their inventory? ask them what they have. the game is fine how it is now, the SP is tough on hard mode, the stikes when under lvled or under geared are hard, and they are pretty long, and the pvp has a nice learning curve, the loot system is balanced and interactions should be from one player to another through voice or msg and not through a character emotes

                                          • I agree with some of this and disagree with some too. I don't think dropped items should be shared nor do I think every chest should have uncommon gear. However, chests should have items scaled to the lvl of the player who opens it. The item might be a white item, but it should be scaled to lvl 8 if I am lvl 8. For instance, I found all of the golden chests just to find gear with stats significantly lower than my current gear.

                                              None of these things matter to me. The only thing I care about is that Bungie fixes the reloading to be more realistic. In Halo: Reach, Halo 4, and Battlefield, you don't have to charge the bolt unless you reload an empty mag, just like in real life. But in Destiny, you have to cock the handle every time you reload, even if you have a round chambered. i don't understand this step backward. PLEASE fix this! Without this simple mechanic, the game just feels so much less polished to me.
