[b]TOP 10 THINGS Bungie MUST FIX in Destiny![/b] [I]Hope DeeJ or one of the other Bungie crew actually read this![/I] 1. [b] Waypoints[/b] - When pressing the point button you should be able to set a waypoint that everyone can see, and have it appear on HUD with a range (in meters). These waypoints should also change depending on the object. Waypointing a Fallen, HIve, etc should give a red "ENEMY" waypoint, green "LOOT" for item drops, yellow "CHEST" for chests, purple "VEHICLE" for pikes, interceptors, etc, blue "GHOST" for dead ghosts, and white or grey "WAYPOINT" for everything else such as the ground, a roof, walls, etc. All waypoints should be removable by clicking the waypoint button a second time and not disappear automatically unless 5 minutes pass without response. These may also be useful in PvP with a much quicker half life of around 5 seconds, allowing teams to "tag" important things like enemy snipers, ammo, hiding spots, etc. 2. [b]Increase Freeroam cap to 6 players[/b] - After running with a 6 man team in Crucible, sometimes we need a break and want to head to freeroam to run around and chill out. Or maybe one of us found a cool thing and wants to share. Or maybe we all want to partake on a full scale dead ghost/treasure hunt. It sucks to boot 3 of our friends out especially when we have 5 players and 20 mintutes to kill waiting for our 6th man to join us for an event like Iron Banner. 3. [b]Enable Single Player[/b] - Many times I was paired with noobs or kids that rushed ahead and ignored chests/loot when going into strikes. Or even worse the kids that were idle or hid from battle, just there to steal exp and rewards. Enable the option to run strikes and set them to solo, invite only, friends only, and public. 4. [b]Enable RANKED and SOCIAL modes, or Disable team splitting[/b] - Tired of having my 6 man fireteam split up and forced to fight each other. More often than not when this happens kids sabotage their team to help their friends. At least stop this in Ranked matches. Id prefer not to see it at all, ever. 5. [b]Shared LOOT drops[/b] - when an engram, weapon, or consumable drops it should be universal, AT THE VERY LEAST to your fireteam. It should not disappear after pickup, but rather turn translucent so that players can set waypoints on the loot for their friends. 6. [b]Loot Chest Rework[/b] - These chests have set respawn locations which is nice, except when they spawn in unreachable places. They should be openable from any angle just by approach rather than the very Zelda-like walk up to the front and manually open. They need longer half lives as they disappear way too fast, so they can be shared with teammates. They need better gear most importantly, scaled to the players currently equipped gear and level. Gear that has stat effects should be all that chests give such as an uncommon rifle with a fast reload perk. And increase the amount of glimmer, even if its random. For example one chest gives 130 while another gives 870. 7. [b]Realtime In-game mini-maps and large maps[/b] - Allow pressing a button or two simultaneously to activate maps with realtime data such as player location, vehicles, objectives, waypoints, etc. Many Guardians get lost in Destiny. This need not be the case. Also infinitely more important than a button to "wave hi". 8. [b]Player Names on/under Ships in Load Screens[/b] - Bungie... why would we buy ship skins if nobody knows that's our ship? Come on now. 9. [b]Spawn Next To Team after Join In Progress[/b] - The worst part of freeroam or accepting an invite to a mission is spawning at the first part of the map and having to travel manually while fighting annoying enemies solo until you reach your team by then they either failed or completed the objective. Please fix this to at least spawn in the same general area or at one of several visible LZs (landing zones). 10. [b]Inventory Rework[/b] - first allow players to view all items and gear in a players inventory (not bank, keep that private). If my friend has 4 exotic rifles a legendary shotgun and fusion rifle, 25000 glimmer and 200 ether seeds Id like to see please. Second keep item levels always visible. I hate how it disappears how can I know what to store for my other guardians? My level 8 hunter views a level 6 gun the same as a level 8 yet my level 1 Titan sees their true level. Also this helps when comparing gear with other players. Third show how much glimmer the gear is worth and what youll receive by breaking it down BEFORE you break it down and are sorely disappointed. Also give a warning prompt when trying to dismantle Exotics or Legendries to prevent accidents. Lastly- show a number indicating if you already own the gear and how many. Bungie you made a good game.   • #1 there should be a waypoint option+map to set them, but all these colors.... i don't know about that #2 it should #3 agreed with a solo option, but you can make a fireteam so you don't get put in with noobs and play the strike with friends. #4 never happend too me, but agree, people could take advantage of team splitting #5 agree on universal drops for fireteam only. And get automatic marked on the minimap #6 yep #7 agree on a map/more detailed minimap,getting lost is a bit stuppid.. would like a fasttravel option to the start of a building/dungeon cause walking back is a pain in the ass sometimes #8 buying ships is useless when you cant use them realtime, same for sparrow only upgrade of it is fast corners, would like a sparrow that can shoot #9 would be nicer indeed #10 and yes

      • Is 5 really an issue? As far as I'm aware any loot you miss goes to the postmaster in the Tower.

        • No to shared loot drops simply because of the fact that armor is specific to class. Also, no to the maps. It's gratifying to explore and learn how and where to go on your own and not be the slave of the "M" button (for PC MMORPG players). Exploring isn't fun in the slightest when the purpose is to simply clear up a large, shaded map. I liked having to learn how to get to, say, the Forgotten Shore and The Divide. The map system found in today's MMO's needs to die in a fire, and perhaps Destiny will be the beginning of this.

                Great post, hard to find any constructive feedback in here, almost every post are whining childs and stupid requests like "I want my sparrow to instakill everything with missiles". So, about your post: 1. Agree 2. Absolutely agree 3. Meh 4. Superdooperly agree 5. This. Some rare drop like House Banners etc should be fireteam-shared. 6. Yeah, you should be able to open chests from almost any direction. 7. Agree. Don't understand why it isn't there already, just like points 8 and 9, they seem like a rather logical feature in any game like this. 10. That's the only point i don't agree, I just dont like people sniffing in my stuff. I have more than enough with the companion app. Edit: I would add an 11th point, and I think it's rather important. 11. Please, please add voice chat in pvp-cruicible, I hope that it is already noted or that they didn't want to add it on beta and we will see it at launch, but it is odd that in a game based on teamwork you can not even speak with your team

                        • I have seen plenty of adults do the same, no need to generalise all kids. In terms of your ideas, wouldnt want to see any of them added to the game. The only reason you want waypoints and maps is so you can search the whole map individually and the lock the loot while your squad joins you. If you are a team then stick together. If you loot a chest with one item and some glimmer in there, then you should have the option to trade the item. Don't see why the items should magically multiply because there are more people standing there.

                          • GREAT POST! This is really good feedback that should be considered! Agree with all, except for 10 which should still be considered with limitations! If I had anything to add: 11) [b]HUD Display[/b] - Please move this an inch or two closer to the center of the screen, the current location makes a user look away from the action. 12) [b]Changing Classes between games[/b] - I think having the ability to change Guardian after each game should be made available. The current setting forces a user to change character and going back to orbit. This is a long tedious process. Otherwise, I feel there isnt much incentive to build up each Guardian Class.

                                • 1) Change the fire-team cap. Make it more party oriented. 4 player? 2) Add a higher level cap in the beta so we can test out the advancements 3) Hand cannons, if they are staying the way they are, need to have a faster reload speed 4)(Probably going to happen) add more subclasses for more originality 5)Let us keep our characters because we have put in way to much time. 6)Make the bosses drop loot. 7)Make pulse rifles just as good as the rest. 8)Decrease the tanky ness of the intercepter. I murder everyone while in it. Like everyone. 9) Decrease the amount of times we et super in the crucible? It's lame how no matter how good I'm doing some noob can smack the ground and kill me. 10)Once again, increase fire team size so we can play with more friends.. Just make the mobs scalable so if we have 4 or 5 ppl there is more and harder guys making it even. 11) More advancements with more skills We want to keep unlocking skills it's fun

                                  • Yes to 6 man teams for exploring but no to everything else. Loot is individual so I'm cool with that. Point 8 would spoil the gorgeous emersion experience. Dismantling legendary weapons gives you extra stuff you can upgrade other items with and takes a sec to do so you can't really do it by accident.

                                    • My biggest issue is you calling people "kids" like its a bad thing. I guarantee my 12 year old nephew is more mature then most 18 year olds out there. Stop using "kid" as a slur. Its disrespectful. Other then that, I like the points. Could help improve upon whats already in place.

                                      • Everything but 5 is alright. We better have individual loot drops because if I'm the only one actually doing anything in a strike and some guy is tucked in a corner watching me kill people, and he gets all the loot I get I'll be pretty aggravated.

                                        • these would be great ideas and something else id like to see is a chat system sense this is a multiplayer based game maybe some voice chat and a chat room where u can talk to every1 playing in your region. kinda like warframe if u played it

                                          • I'll agree that fire teams should be increased to at least 4 people min. The ally spawn when they join is also dumb, Why do I have run back across the map to find my friend if he joins my session. I think the inventory system is fine, I don't people to see everything I have or how much glimmer I got b/c then they'll just keep asking how I got this or that. As for single player, I can tell you that ain't gonna happen. At best there will be offline mode or you have a shit connection so they dumb you on an empty server at 3 AM. I agree that it's a pain to have some noob run in and screw everything up or up the difficulty or just steal xp/rewards. Personally, I'd like to see them let you go into your own firefight solo or even with a 2 man squad. My friend and I kept doing the devil's lair and it always stuck us with some low lvl noob who would just rush up to the enemy and die or lure them towards or whatever else. Maps I think need to be in the game, although every zone is actually rather tiny for an mmo/open world and exceedingly linear. For the most part they are all the same layout: A giant open circle with a couple paths branching off here or there connecting to the next zone and the paths in between each zone are very twisty/winding and narrow. They can also fix the broken/laggy way point and damage indicator system. Seriously if I'm getting shot from the front, why does my indicator invert and show me I'm getting shot from behind? Loot chests are fine. I have yet to find a chest that has been difficult to reach. The higher ones can be reached with a simple double jump just like ghosts on ceilings. Although a faster respwan rate will be needed when the game goes live and everyone is exploring everywhere.

                                          • I disagree with almost every point you make. Your suggestions seem to want Destiny EZ mode, I say go play bin wevils or hayday. I like my games to be challenging not spoon fed to me
