Hiw about the strap across the chest (like the warlock in your pic)

That's actually a piece that's on a lot of the higher level chest pieces. I got a couple blue ones that have it, or if you go to one of the factions when the beta is back up, their chest's have it too. Tha'ts why i personally wouldn't want a shoulder because that plus a shoulder plate are on the chest pieces already.
