I do believe they should drop loot it is frustrating sometimes to fight the devil walker multiple times and NOT get anything. I also think when you pull up the ghost he should mark all nearby loot for you so you can do a quick check for the loot, instead of just straight out missing it cause it fell in some weird place so you couldn't find it or worse not notice it come out at all.

I think it's a good idea for bosses to drop loot or materials. The second point of the ghost showing loot is just you being lazy. Would you like the restaurant to cut up your steak into lil bite size peices too? Look, I'm not trying to bag on you but that is the point of loot. Stumbling upon a chest full of money and maybe gear is bad ass and to have something guide you there you be lame. I've played alot of rpgs along the years and this is a tried and true approach to loot and it shouldn't be changed.

You are misunderstanding the ghost idea it ONLY shows dropped loot so that means you've already earned it from killing enemies. i don't want it to show chests or anything. I just want to reduce the time i spend searching through an area i just cleared

Ok I got ya! I hope that's all they would consider doing because showing chests would be just crazy in my opinion. However finding dropped loot isn't that difficult in reality it's quite easy but I can understand what you're saying bro. Have fun with the beta!

The Ghost Showing loot would really come in handy. Good Idea Hope Bungie sees it an maybe they will add it.

I would love to have the ghost show me where the loot is that way I don't waste time looking around cause I don't know if time is taken into account for the strick reward

If you miss any green and about loot it gets sent to the messenger

Thank you for pointing that out i never knew that. but the thing is i would always run around the area to make sure i didn't miss any loot and that time could be reduced with the ghost marking. I am sure many players search the area of dead enemies as well its just a way to reduce searching for what you've already earned so you can play more of the game :)
