There is an option for that under look control in settings. Auto lock centering is off by default though. I haven't noticed any pull of my crosshair

Auto look centering and aim assist are entirely different processes.

Oh well in that case I agree it should be an option. If they give us the freedom to adjust our sensitivity and invert look then why not have an option for that
