It's a thing, but thinking Halo 3 has a great story is an invalid one.
-
Oh really, so seeing that the main character has reached a resolve, a character we spent 3 games with, and a resolve which makes me enjoy the story, makes my opinion invalid? But in all seriousness, were you just trying to troll the 3tards or were you making a legitimate statement, I'm too tired to tell right now.
resolve
Apart from being stranded in space with a huge -blam!-ing plot device shoved in our faces, along with the flood and array still being a very present threat. Now resolve.
-
Being stranded in space is part of his resolve, he is no longer the UNSC's pawn, or the demon, he's just floating space, with no fight left. As for the flood and array, I don't know enough halo lore to know about it.

How can a story be ended if there is still a major plot point (Requiem) unveiled just after the credits?
-
That was an easter egg. It was there in case Bungie ever wanted to pick up where they left off, but leaving it open-ended would have worked too. Better, in my opinion.
-
I never implied that the story hadn't ended, I just said masterchief made a resolve.
-
Halo 3's story really isn't that good.
