Since my impression is each story mission is hosted on its own "clone" of a map due to reducing load on the game, Ill keep it that, I prefer smooth gameplay over such a small detail.

  • Yeah they are instanced...which they need to be. I must not be explaining this well. So from what I saw, these story missions take place in sectioned off parts of the open world. It would be nice if while I was playing open world...I could walk to where...we will call it story mission 1...where story mission 1 is, and like hit a beacon or something to que me up for it. In the alpha, if I wanted to do a story mission. I had to leave free roaming, then select it from a menu. It would be nice if the ability to select/que for it was available in the open world. It would still be the instance/clone you are talking about, just accessed in another manner. I think it would create a more seamless experience.

  • And I still think there is a loading related reason why it work like it did in the alpha, if its there its there for a technical reason, something I prefer for a smoother load.
