Only 4 days for the beta.
Cry more. It's only a god damn game you bunch of troglodytes.
It's not Bungie turning their back on you or any of the wild accusations you idiots are making.
It's business. Simple as that.
Sony paid Activision for the exclusive alpha, the earlier beta and the exclusive content.
This is how [u][b]a competitive business[/b][/u] works for all you little delusional fanboys out there.
What's even funnier is that you Xbox fanboys got [u][b][i]10 whole years[/i][/b][/u] of exclusivity from Bungie, but now that you're missing a few days of the beta you're all crying like a bunch of little babies.
Many times I've seen dumb Xbox fanboys run the Halo franchise in the faces of Playstation fanboys, but now you don't like it that the tables have turned.
Also, inb4 the accusations that I'm a Playstation fanboy.

In all seriousness, the only thing I'm really irked about is the fact that within the DLC there's timed exclusivity. You're literally paying more for less.

I agree. I've been I xbox player since the first halo. My xbox has treated me very well over the years. Haven't owned a ps since ps one, but haven't hated them, just made a choice and couldn't afford the other. Now I'm making the switch to a ps4 for destiny but I don't hate the xbox one. Halo was awsome and I had great times but not a full fan of what 343 did to the story but the game was fun. Was fully planning on playing destiny on my 360 but saved up for a ps4. It's all about choices, not rights. Brand loyalty in my opinion is stupid, but a choice.

1 Replyconsole exclusives are VERY different from platform exclusives on a multiplatform game. 1. the alpha, and beta are not, and should not ever be a part of marketing, they are for development, and should be treated as what they are, aka a test. and that fact that not only will playstation have exclusives at launched (which are timed exclusives for nearly a bloody year) they will also receive exclusive content with the expansions as well, which will also be timed for nearly a year.

2 Repliesok so I've read a bunch of this crap and its all well and good but down to the point I don't think bungie turned on its fans in fact if I recall it was Microsoft (dicks) who shunned bungie and got a big wad of corn filled chocolate (that's poo for the laymen) all over themselves.....I just want to make it clear that I am personally disappointed to have waited 8 MONTHS for a 5 DAY beta i don't know about you but I've played with an etch-sketch longer than that

1 ReplyCan we all please just stop this nonsense? You're still getting all the content, and the beta, they're just timed exclusive to PlayStation platforms. I guess being on the other end of that stick this time sucks, doesn't it? Microsoft has been paying loads of cash for timed exclusive content for years (instead of spending money on actual exclusives, but that's another story). Sony does it one time with Destiny and now Xbox players are throwing fits that Bungie has [i]"forgotten their roots"[/i] and is [i]"neglecting their fans."[/i] They haven't and they're not, they have fans on PlayStation too you know. If I owned a PS3 and an X360, can I not be both a Playstation fan and a Halo fan (and therefore a Bungie fan)? Personally, I think timed exclusive anything is a stupid idea regardless of who does it, but that's not the point. The point is you guys are seriously overreacting to something that isn't even a problem. Can't we all just get along and enjoy this great game, regardless of which console we're playing on?
