Halo 3 Cortana > Halo 4 Cortana
Based on my scientific examinations and my personal studies and tests, I have come to the conclusion that Pre-Halo 4 Cortana is >= Post Halo 3 Cortana

In terms of story, however, Cortana seemed like more of a mother-figure/guardian in Halo 3 whereas in Halo 4 she seemed like a close friend almost to the point of being romantically involved. Both of their respective designs fit those different roles perfectly in my opinion. I think what really matters is which role that's preferred. I think I like the motherly Cortana a little bit more, and I also think you're weird if you think the motherly Cortana is attractive, because her motherly role is matched perfectly with a motherly appearance. Also, pre-Halo 3 Cortana is nothing special. Nostalgia goggles off.

3 RepliesHalo 3 Cortana by far. In Halo 4 she freaked me out by how realistic she looked. Also I liked her personality more in Halo 3, I think she just changed too much in Halo 4.

I enjoyed Cortana a lot more as a character in halo 3 then I did in halo 4. That's saying something as she's only in 2 levels in halo 3.
