I'm getting stuff done around the house to build up brownie points with the wife so that when Destiny does come out I don't get in as much trouble for playing as much as I plan to.

Yeah my wife would never play a video game sadley. I thought she was hot and eventually would just find her some shit to do. Hasn't been that easy lol. I should prolly suck up more instead of trying to play terrible games. Ideas to help please the wife. I'm a terrible romantic.

Begged my wife to do this exact scenario except I offered to still get her a birthday present...no dice. She's just not a gamer. Her birthday is even at the end of September so almost a good fit.

The kicker is it was her idea!!! Brandy isn't (a big gamer)either except for Skyrim & Journey. She was really bummed when elder scrolls online got pushed way back. She was surprised by my reaction to Destiny b/c it's been quite a while that I've shown this kind of enthusiasm over any games. I wish you luck! Maybe flowers & some jewelry between now & then?!
