It's kept me from taking my aggression out on real people instead of virtual aliens. I've got a lot of anger that doesn't have any other way of calming, unless I get totally -blam!-ed up on something. Which gets expensive if I do it too often. So I play videogames and force my frustration onto the Covenant, or the fine citizens of Los Santos, and then I'm not only calm, but generally either satisfied or extremely amused. That's why I say videogames [i]prevent[/i] violence. Except for those mentally ill kids that shoot up their schools because Tank Dempsey convinced him in his dreams everybody was a zombie or something. When that's the case, knitting would probably be a better hobby.
