Ok literally, i don't see the point of sony having Spider-Man or 20th Fox having X-Men, if your going to make a super hero movie why bother separating them, why can't they be all together, are they just going to ignore the comics and just make it into there own image, and there going to make it an Avenges movie with Spider-Man + X-Men until they run out of ideas? just give it to marvel and will all be good, How did Sony get Spider-Man and how did 20th Century Fox get X-Men, IMO Neither of these companies should have touched Marvels hero in the first place and they should have let Spider-Man and X-Men rights go to Marvel, seriously why bother having Sony and Fox making these superhero movies in the first place?

  • X-men is more overplayed than the saw movies, and F&F movies out together.

    • I somehow envision a two hour movie where there are so many characters in spandex that the audience needs a checklist in order to note who they spotted. It would be like comic-book-geek bingo. Of course, with that many characters on screen within that short of time, each would only have 1 line and contribute little or nothing to the story, but just be seen in group shots, as extra in HQ's scenes and as part of the multitude in fight scenes where, if they are lucky, you get to see one example of them using their power. Wohooo. That sounds like a great movie.

        • ....No. Adding in the X-Men AND Spider-Man into a team composed of multiple high-profile superheroes is just going to be a mess in a 2 hour movie. There is just NO way to give all of them the screen time they deserve and still have the story make sense and fit it in a 2 hour or even a 3 hour window. It will ultimately leave fans frustrated. Save it for the comic books.

        • Why should a BUSINESS that wants to make MONEY throw away a BILLION DOLLAR FRANCHISE just for your satisfaction and entertainment? Just because they're all Marvel properties, doesn't mean they belong in the same universe. That would result in major creative difficulties between the characters and story-lines e.g. if Spider-Man was put into the Avengers, people would whine in future Spider-Man movies "why doesn't Spider-Man just call the Avengers?", or if writers wanted Captain America to be in the new X-Men movie but can't because Cap was killed off in Avengers 2. And don't suggest that Marvel should 'just buy back the rights to Spider-Man and X-Men', that would cost them billions and Sony/Fox know that it wouldn't be worth it, they can make way more money in the long-run with their existing franchises. Also, Spider-Man and the X-Men aren't even significant Avengers, so there is absolutely no need for them to be in Avengers movies, and that would also make the films awfully crowded.

          • If Marvel gets the Spider-Man license again, I'd love it if they just went "-blam!- It" and went for Morales as Spider-Man instead of Parker

              • I think that it is unwise at this time to combine the already existing cinematic universes. Anyhow, I don't really care. I'm a D.C. universe fan.
