Little habits in open world games

What're little habits you have in various open world games? For instance, when I play Fallout I usually dismember the people I kill, or at least remove their heads and hide them away from the rest of their bodies. And in Oblivion and Skyrim I tend to collect skulls I pick up at random places. But one universal habit i've made, and I noticed that it's happened more over the years rather than less, i'm a bit of a perfectionist in RPGs or games similar to them. I always have to do something EXACTLY right or make a build EXACTLY how I want it. If I start getting too off course I scrap it and start over. It can get a little annoying after a while, especially in Dark Souls, so i'm trying to do it less. What about you guys? What little habits do you tend to have in open world games? (I don't give a rat's ass if this isn't gaming, if it's really that big a deal then someone else can relocate it.)

-I have to collect at least one of all the weapons and armor/clothing available. Been like that since Fable. -I don't like NPCs dying that don't have to die. This required a lot of reloading in Skyrim with random dragon and vampire attacks on settlements. -If it's possible to max my character I do so as soon as possible. For instance, I'm level 98 in Skyrim with all skills at 100 legitimately and haven't even started the main quest. I think I may suffer from slight OCD...
