I just got dark souls 2
Any tips for a noob to the series?

Make sure not to attack NPCs, and talk to the lady in green once you get to Majula. Respect your foes. A single cannon fodder enemy can end you at any time. Explore EVERYTHING. Experiment with items you find, especially weapons. Try to find a decent one with a moveset that you like. If you have any specific questions, PM me. I'd be happy to try to answer them.
