I love both styles of gameplay. Lone wolf is great for exploring and just doing your own thing. But Destiny is hard and a fireteam will allow you to go further than you would be able to on your own. It may take awhile, but after I find a few players who I get along great with and share the same interests with, I'll probably end up shifting from a lone wolf to being in a fireteam more often.
EDIT: Just realized I didn't actually answer your questions. Playing with a team that you get along with is better than lone wolf which is better than playing with a team you don't get along with.

Hahahaha I love your answer.....Both styles do have their own aspects that I like which is why I'll be doing both.

Same here. It's just the end game stuff like raids and strikes are going to require a coordinated fireteam so might as well find your teammates early, right?
