I Just Saw Blade Runner for The First Time

I watched The Final Cut, which is the most recent version. Hmm. I liked it a lot, but I don't know how I feel about it. I feel as though I missed something. Everyone's always talking about whether Deckard is/isn't a replicant, but I didn't even catch that aspect of the film. I payed close attention throughout the movie, but I just didn't catch all the things people talk about. The religious symbolism, the Deckard mystery, nothing. I feel really stupid right now. It doesn't help that I could barely hear Edward James Olmos' character speak, apparently he has some significance. I guess it's a movie you have to watch several times to really "get it." So, yea. I liked it a lot, but I feel as though I missed all the things people discuss in relation to the film. Am I alone here?
