Yeah you could play it solo, and it was a "single player game," but you can play Destiny solo as well.

  • True that you still can. I just meant that it seems to heavily rest upon teamwork over running by yourself. I thought this might annoy or excite people depending upon their gameplay.

    My take on it is this: Destiny will likely allow for solo players to experience the entire game by themselves, however, those experiences may be greater when playing with others, and certain cases, like raids, will likely be optimal with groups, but not necessarily mandatory. It seems like Bungie is putting a lot of emphasis on the social aspects of the game and how they really enrich the whole "Destiny experience," from an emotional/state of mind standpoint, rather than implying that teamwork is integral due to difficulty or gameplay design.
