How does it perform?
-
Its a lower end High end card. If that makes sense. I can play lots of my games on High or Ultra. Depends on the game.
-
I was originally thinking of getting the GTX 750 ti, is the 660 much better?
-
What are the other perifs of your PC?
-
Amd fx 6300cpu 8gb of corsair ram 1tb seagate hardrive Rosewill armor evo case 750w corsair power supply Just trying to decide what gpu to put in to make it run the games I like on good setting with high frame rates.
-
The 750w PSU is overkill.
-
Keeps me from having to change it for future upgrades!
-
No really, 750w is overkill for that build. I'm only using a 650w and I have a higher end GPU than the 660. The estimated wattage of my entire PC is just under 500w. So picking up a 750w PSU for yours is pretty overkill.
-
Maybe... just trying to be on the safe side and not burn out my pc
-
Just drop down to a 650w. You'll still have plenty of room to upgrade in the future. If you use PCpartpicker it will tell you what wattage tour PC will take up.
-
Awesome. Ill check that out.

looks pretty good! what setting will this run?
-
Edited by BannedLemön: 4/17/2014 2:26:05 PMHigh. Some will run at Ultra though Most games should hit 40+fps though.
-
sweet! looks like a good build. i dont know about win-7 pro, i dont really need that, i think im good with home premium.
-
Do you already have a Windows 7 installation disc?
-
i do not.
-
Well, if you can get a cheaper version of Windows from somewhere else, just remove the one I listed.
-
i changed it, the 770 is $300 o.O thats quite a bit. is it really that much better than the 760?
-
You can change it to a 760 if you want. But that'll mean you'll end up upgrading to a newer card in a shorter time. The 770 will last you longer.
-
How long would it last?
