Because that might give us a really big clue about the beta kicking off.
If, for whatever reason, the beta is later in the year than it was for both H3 and Reach, despite the game launching earlier in the year.

Don't listen to those kiddies. If the school they go to lacks the word "university" then they shouldn't be playing destiny, or any online game in general. Summer technically starts on June 21st. It's the summer solstice. Most summer based companies such as amusement parks, and most adults consider the last full weekend of may (our holiday - Memorial Day) as the unofficial start of summer. Take that as you may. It still doesn't answer when the beta will begin - that I assume is the information you are alluding to collect.

As far as I'm concerned, summer starts when the weather stops sucking. Which it never does in Nevada, so I guess that doesn't count. Just go for halfway through May.

The first official day of summer is June 22, but I hope they release the beta before then
