How exactly is it a double standard? If the inverse happened it would be labeled as racism?
Also the fact he is talking about white privilege, yet is rich, is ironic.
White privilege is more than being rich.
It's also about having the presumption of innocence rather than the presumption of guilt.

As a white person you're supposed to have a presumption of guilt? Bravo, sir, you are shining example of international liberalism.
-
I'm not sure if it is racist. Its creepy as hell though, and his attitude just rinks of tumblr SJW.
-
HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHA I can't believe there are actually people who think this way. You're an embarrassment.
-
If an embarrassment calls you an embarrassment, is it actually true? Or is it just -blam!-ing hilarious?
-
It's also about having the presumption of innocence rather than the presumption of guilt.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA Go outside. Take a shower, Hit the weights, Get a clue
Take a shower, Hit the weights
These things work better performed in the reverse order.
-
Very true.

Thats the double standard, hei s claiming it isnt racist, and many are defending him. And maybe it isnt me, but i dont the privilage as much,as say ten years ago.
Thats the double standard, hei s claiming it isnt racist, and many are defending him.
How is it racist though?
And maybe it isnt me, but i dont the privilage as much,as say ten years ago.
I don't understand this sentence.

Thats the double standard, hei s claiming it isnt racist, and many are defending him.
How is it racist though?
How is this not racist?
Damn I didn't know it was going to be this hard being White! ... I'm exhausted with all this "privilege" LOL

And maybe it isnt me, but i dont see the privilage as much,as say ten years ago.
I don't understand this sentence.
Fixed it, missed a word, i dont see this privilege, as prevalent in society, as it was ten years ago. We are far closer to equality than ever before, and in fact it has swinged past almost, as in racial profiling when hiring, ie picking a minority over a qualified candidate, 'white guilt', that black people 'cant be racist', or even that something is owed to the current generation, from the current generation, for something past generations have done. inb4youthinkimracist

I'm exhausted with all this "privilege" LOL

It's crude but it's calling out the inequalities that are still around.
Fixed it, missed a word, i dont see this privilege, as prevalent in society, as it was ten years ago. We are far closer to equality than ever before,
Arguably. Personally I'm in the not really category. Overt racism such as lynchings, burning crosses, spitting at children trying to go to school, or protesting mixed marriages, is certainly gone. If it does exist, it exists in backwater areas that are basically serving as time capsules from our not to spotless past. But equality? I don't see it. Given how blacks are the majority of the poor and the majority of the ones incarcerated for crimes and hit with harder punishments for crimes, even black preschoolers make up most of the preschool suspensions even though they are a minority of the preschool population.
inb4youthinkimracist
I wasn't and wasn't going to unless you said something really, racist. Now I'm just thinking something else.

Im really surprised that you dont consider it racist, if its int he context of making a statement. Kinda like how if a black person says cracker, it isnt usually considered racist. Regarding the crimes, i get that, but the fact isnt that the laws are racist, its that the laws are bad, and inadvertently, the people who violate said shitty laws happen to be poor and black, and cant get out of the charges. But that isnt a thing that is only known to black people, people who happen to be poor, cant afford to fight the charges. But go ahead, i know you want to call me stupid, may as well get it over with.

Wait, so blacks being poor and acting like animals is white peoples fault? LOL what? We have a black president, black CEOs, black bosses. Black people can be very successful. Nothing is holding them back except themselves.
Wait, so blacks being poor and acting like animals is white peoples fault? LOL what?
It's society's fault. That includes whites AND blacks.
We have a black president, black CEOs, black bosses. Black people can be very successful. Nothing is holding them back except themselves.
Emphasis on the bold. Yes they can. What most end up as is a long, long, long way from those lofty goals. To attribute it all to a "lack of will" on the part of the user is incredibly asinine. Of course, I'm talking to PSU so asinine is par for the course.
-
Bringing up my name is irrelevant. Just makes you look dumb. I'll leave this thread with one last statement. Blacks are just as likely as whites to be successful in today's world.

If a white guy where to do this but with being black, people would call him racist and things like that.
