Does Destiny need More customization?
I think it would be nice to be able to choose different shoulder/arm pads for each arm or different parts for each leg, as you can see in [url=http://i.imgur.com/nXM37Py.gif]this .gif [/url]some outfits seem to be non symmetrical, and I think it would be an amazing feature to be able to choose each part individually .
As you can see in this [url=http://www.destinypedia.com/images/9/90/Destiny_E3_2013_Demo%2C_Inventory%2C_Thunderlord.png]image[/url] there appears to be no section for shoulder pads at all, I think that's a bad choice.

There is things missing though, or things that I think would make the game a lot more exciting. Personally I'd like the raid loot system to change, instead of straight gear drops with random stats, I'd like to see token drops. In the tower I think there should be a raid gear vendor, and for a certain amount of tokens you can pick a piece of gear for X amount of tokens. I think they should have 3 different pieces for each gear slots; so three gauntlets, 3 chests ect ect. Each piece can have different stats or the same, but cosmetically they should be very different. Not only would this add some flare into raid gearing, but it would add some unique customisation both aesthetically and in terms of play style. I also think instead of shaders dropping, there should be colours or "patterns" and in the tower there should be a vendor that combines 3 patterns into a shader, so a red, green and white pattern would create a shader combining these colours. IMO with these features it would make the game a lot more exciting and encourage player creativity.

3 RepliesWhat I want more than this, is the ability to change your appearance. I'm getting tired of all my guardians, plus we should be able to rotate our guardians in the customization screen, hair is a big deal... Needs to be perfect.

1 ReplyPeople have been campaigning for this sort of thing since release. More shaders, more options, transmogrifacation, DCUO style wardrobe system... anything. It wouldn't be a giant leap. But I don't think we're going to get squat. Best thing to do with this game is cease caring and play casual. Honestly, it's just a decent FPS, it's not going to live up to its name.

Yes. More customization, to the point its a game within the game, or mini-game, what have you. More options, more diversity, more uniqueness, more individuality, more self expression, more creativity, more customization, more, more, more.

Weapons shader to go with the armor shader. Also a way to view the face customizations on people's profiles... So it's not just a character creation and tower thing.... Other than that I might like to be able to check out the Scopes and whatnot on weapons being sold by the venders at the tower.

It needs a system where you can swap light and perks on armour, if i get a raid helmet from crota with 3 decent perks and 36 light, but it looks shit, i should be able to swap the light and perks onto a piece of green/blue/vanguard gear i like the look of, would solve alot of problems with everyone walking around looking the same. As far as weapons go, they could do with a system like i believe borderlands use, where they have a set number of weapon attachments and you can pick up any combination of these attachments, since the PvE is combined with PvP though, i doubt this would happen as people would be "OP"

One more thing. For the love of all thing holy, neutral, and evil give us some more vault space. I'd we don't get it in the next dlc I will not be able to store the new gear and weapons. My vault runneth over.

Maybe I don't like to rock titan shoulders with da fur. Maybe I want spikes or a thrall's head in its place. Maybe I don't like pointy boots. You get my drift. Seems a simple fix. There should be a way to reskin armor. Some people might like to mix and match types of armor but can't do so because of the older armor's light level. I would like to paint my own designs on my speeder. I would like to say that the Titan gauntlets with a god of war shader looks -blam!-ing awesome.

Yeah, the thing that peeves me is the shaders and the lack of different shaped garments. If we could pick our own colours it would be fantastic.

My biggest thing is i love a lot of the guns old and new and i wish they all could be upgraded to the new attack. I played the VOG raid a ton to get my raid weapons and i would love to be able to upgrade them to always keep in my collection. Plus its just cool to have tons of weapon choices. Its kinda stupid that guns like the vanquisher are still sold but with higher attack but i can't upgrade the one i just bought right before the dlc. Just let us upgrade the legendary stuff too so we can keep what we actually love instead getting all new stuff that we might not like.

3 RepliesI'd like to See more shaders..remember the old school need for speed games,where you just had a colour chart and selected the different shade of colour to each section of the car..I'm talking 10 years old..why couldn't this be bought in for armour,guns,sparrows and ships... Would also love to See a exo stool,selling New eyes head parts,more spikes e.c.t Awoken/human Barbour (beareds) I do think they have missed the trick with the sparrow..we should of started with the white sparrow as we do,but instead of them selling green sparrows,you buy parts,new wings,front bumper,seats,handle bars..then to move up level you buy a green engine and so on,unlocking New special equipment,I imagine mine dressed like a old school Harley with the big leather bag on it and a rail gun on the front,(why havnt we got guns)this idea could be brought in with the ships as well.. (also can we not pic up material and missions whilst on the sparrow,you can get ammo and engrams..seems silly to me) But it's the guns that get me,there is the opportunity to slightly modify them( but trying not to go to cod style) or even have the opportunity to personalize it with a crew name or your psn name along the side.. At least give us something to spend our glimmer on.. Sorry about any spelling mistakes
