It's bad and awful and you shouldn't do it, but if people want to damage themselves, then I guess they can. The line of where we have to protect people is the question... Such as high driving, giving others contact buzzes, all that...

  • So you're saying that second hand smoke is no risk factor at all?

  • How exactly is cannabis bad and awful?

  • Do you think children should smoke cannabis?

  • I don't think children should smoke anything.

  • Why is that? If cannabis isn't bad or awful at all? There's some bad things about cannabis, and even though consenting adults want what consenting adults want, children have "doli incapax", and can't really consent to anything. If someone is smoking cannabis, and a child breathes in that second hand smoke, is that ok? These are the real questions that need to be addressed.

  • Cannabis isn't bad, the act of combustion is. Vaporizing and edibles is a different store and children often use it medicinally without any negative effects. In fact, breast milk contains some of the very same chemicals as cannabis. A child is a growing and learning organism that shouldn't be distracted by any substance, including caffeine. Their mentality is the issue, not cannabis.

  • Not all the cannabinoids are found in the human body... Many poisons are aqueous solutions, yet just because they contain water doesn't mean they're not harmful. So then you're saying that legislation should only allow the eating and vaporizing of pot and not the smoking, to avoid the same problems we have with tobacco? I dunno, I just feel there is sides to this that aren't being taken into account. Also a lot of the research being done is really bias... On both sides... Politics is getting in the way of the truth here...

  • Their harm can still be observed and duplicated, we don't see this with cannabis. Not at all, people are free to harm themselves if they wish, but yes, we should be encouraging safer methods of use always, especially when children use medically.

  • Yes, people are free to harm themselves, but with second hand smoke, people passing by, children passing by will be forced to intake the smoke, therefore affecting their right to safety/ clean environment. So maybe you should only be allowed to smoke it in well ventilated areas or only at home.

  • A little second-hand smoke isn't going to hurt you unless you're in a car with the windows up and eight people are in there smoking joints and cigarettes, until then, you can always cross the street or hold your breath for a few seconds.

  • We can't reach an end game. Morally, I disagree with everything you just said.
