What is the best laptop available on the market for school purposes?
What product would I go with to use for school? What laptop? What brand? What brands or laptops last the longest?

A $250 Chromebook can meet those needs. So can a $999 Macbook Air. The Macbook Air lineup tend to be good choices if you can afford them. The 13" model would be my pick. + Battery life (13 hours) + Super portable (like -5 pounds) + Decent performance (SSD, optimized software) + Comes with all the software you need (iWork, Safari) - Low resolution display for the price (900p) - Low storage capacity (max of 256GB) - Compatibility issues (due to MacOS) - Pricey ($1099)
