[/quote] "we had no infrantry that could reach them in time and Raux never responded. Spear 7 is waiting, its been an hour." *I stood up and looked out on Mobile Bay. Thinking of what the possibilities were.* "Did Spear Squad succeed in their second objective?" "We don't know sir. However the mothership is still in orbit repairing from the battle." "I see, initiate the backup. We're ending this fight." *The officer nods and and shouts orders into the radar. Spear 7 began its course towards the ship with only one missile. It wasn't an F-15 like the others, but an F-117 with only one missile. A beacon. WIthin 10 miles the missile was fired and ICBMs were armed. The missile made no explosion, instead it broke apart just before hitting the hull and sent out a magnetic hardware that acts as a lock on for the missiles. After 20 minutes the ICBMs were only 5 klicks from the ship. Spear Sqaudron had succeeded, disable the guns and kill their engines, allowing for this phase of operation.* *Ten missiles hit the mothership and ripped it apart as the combined fusion obliterated anyrthing within ten miles but Spear 7 was long gone. And the fate of Strike Team and Raux remains a mystery*

I believe I have found the invaders' mothership docked directly above the north pole, just outside our orbit. I will be rounding up all members of the Strike Team immediately and we will be deploying in FIFTEEN MINUTES REAL TIME. All soldiers who aren't in the Strike Team will be tasked with the ever important task of defending NYC of the constant bombardment of drop pods. 18 RepliesThe HEV pod shuddered violently as it broke through the atmosphere. Terry had no idea what the hell was going on in the city, intel was crap, as per usual. As the pod hurdled to the awaiting ground Terry could see the signs of combat in the city, he hoped his squad wouldn't be landing too far away from him. A sudden jolt of pain told Terry he had hit ground, the HEV's door exploded off with a bang, "Feet first into hell" Terry thought, grabbing his rifle as he made his way into the chaos. (Sorry if this kind of sucks, I've never actually done a roleplay before, just read them.)
