I think the comparison you should really be making is the difficulty level of the content kids are being tested on.

Well that isnt easily quantifiable for either side.

I never said it was, but for all I know it might be extremely difficult to get a 60+ in the UK, whereas it could be a walk in the park to get 80 and above in the US. Love me some nuance.

From what my mother said, when she taught there, mind this is twenty years ago, the curriculum are about the same in design and difficulty, except the subject matters vary wildly, for what they focus on. I know britain has a larger focus on its historical context, and very little on the US, while we have a major focus on ours and not yours.

Yeah, UK has zero multiple choice questions too. The majority, if not all of the curriculum, revolves around writing essays or large paragraphs in very short spaces of time. I'm not well known of the US system, but it is extremely difficult to attain an A in the UK.
