I'm not taking a side on either side of the gay rights debate here. I'm not posting any hate either. This isn't a matter of equality, rights, or any other part of the gay rights debate. This is a straightforward and simple question. There is no need for raging pro-gay posters here. This thread isn't political. It is about society as a whole. So, if homosexuals never existed, would society and humanity as a whole be better off?

Not really. Before it became an 'issue', it was welcomed in Greek society. We might not have some of the things we have today because of different kinds of people. Then there are more recent ones like people from Leonardo to Mercury to Cooper to McKellen and all sorts of others. If you just treat them like people, you'll realise that's all they are. Their minds are as good as others.
