Why cant we have FOV sliders on console games?

Seriously, it is now next gen and tebshooter games still have a lower FOV. Why cant we have a slider or increased one like on PC?

  • It takes more system resources (and console games don't like to use those in most cases). Not to mention one of the main reasons why you have it on PC is because a lot of people get motion sickness sitting so close to the monitor if the FOV is less than around 80, so it is practically needed on a PC.

    • the new gen consoles have the power to handle the resources needed for a higher FoV. Having a higher FoV means less motion sickness and more pleaasant experience for customers, meaning more people will be willing to buy the product. You dont mess with your customers eyes. I think Next gen consoles are more than ready to break that cycle of low Fields of View. Destiny needs a higher default FoV. At least 80.
