Will Halo 5 Revive the Halo Series?
I think we've all realized the sad truth by now, 343 Industries has singlehandedly destroyed the success of the Halo franchise with their monstrosity of a game, Halo 4.
Yet now there may be some hope. With a new generation of consoles comes new games, and with the upcoming Halo 5 game for Xbox One, Halo may have a reborn. Well, either that or the game is a bust and Halo is abandoned and forgotten in the blissful past of the first decade of the 21st century and never played again.
What do you think Halo 5's effect will be on the Halo series as a whole? Will it save Halo from the destruction 343 wrought upon it last year?

If 343i keeps going the way they've been going with the story, honestly, no. A lot of the people who hate Halo 4 and 343i hate it because of the god-awful direction the storyline has taken and it shitting all over established canon. 343i might fix the multiplayer in Halo 5 (I [i]really[/i] don't think peoples' perception on [i]that[/i] will change either in all honesty >_> Me personally, I'm more or less fine with Halo 4's MP and couldn't care less about it, just not something I'm interested in playing, the other Halos didn't really interest me too much either), but unless they get the story back on track and keep it in tune with canon, then they're only going to continue bleeding out the series and seeing fans leaving it. And considering that all they've done is continue to screw up when it comes to the lore and the series......I have absolutely no hope for Halo 5 whatsoever, it's only going to continue as it has been.
