Godly? Hold on there. While I like the 360 controller, its D-pad was a horrendous inhumanity to man.

The types of games the 360 generally goes for doesn´t really promote the use of the D-Pad much. I never had any problems with them, and I´ve barely heard anyone complain of them either.

I haven´t played fighting games, but I have 2D platformers and I´ve used the joystick.

Edited by Smarkdow: 11/13/2013 1:56:15 AMYeah, I've done that too, but that really isn't preferable for me. I wish there was a compatible controller with the Sega Genesis/Saturn D-pad. That would be amazing.

Better in every way.

There's less force in moving the sticks. Triggers are better, if that's even possible. D-pad is great with clickiness. Buttons are a lot more responsive and quicker. I don't know if it's just me, but the bumpers on the XBO controller need a JUST a bit more force to press, especially as you move up the bumper to the top center of the controller. Also, I'm a bit nervous on build quality. The plastic material is thinner, so there's a possibility this thing can shatter more easily. It of course FEELS a lot better than XB360 controller's plastic. Matte is a good finish.

I know what you mean in regards to the bumpers. They seem to require a bit more force but I think it's due to the fact they're larger and easier to "accidentally press", so to speak. The extra pressure will make it so you don't go accidentally reloading/throwing grenades/changing gear/whatever the button does in whatever game you're playing.
