So who do we represent?
If everything here is seeming to get progressively more boring, as an internet forum, how are we running out of sources to feed? What do we represent if we run out of fresh things to discuss? Sure you can touch on old subjects, but the cycle will soon end once we're all richly educated to the facts.
This makes me think on a much wider scales. If an online community can eventually become stale (not saying it is or has, but a fraction of this forum seems to think so, so lets roll with it) then what will become of humanity? Will we eventually reach that point where we have nothing left to accomplish? Imagine that day, and the sheer horror in the eyes of humanity as we search...as a race for a meaning. Well.......think of something new and productive to think about fast, our race depends on it!

There are a finite amount of things worth discussing in day to day life, it's only when something big happens in the world that people get interested in discussing/screaming/flaming about it. I mean look at what happened over the ZimZam Trial, the Flood was an utter mess of threads because everyone was getting stirred up and wanted to talk/troll about it. Same thing when the first school shootings started, the gun control arguments lasted for ages. And with the government shutdown. The rest of the time on here is mostly filler with a few diamonds in the rough until something big happens then BAM it's like Adrenaline and Steroids for discussion.
