How is Pokemon X and y so far?
How are you guys liking it so far? I literally cannot stop playing! The graphics are just amazing. They really worked hard on the battles and all. Kalos is beautiful. I just got my Delphix and heading to the 3rd gym atm.
Btw my Fennekin was modest first try. Lol
Love the customization!

Game was laughably easy, but I'm enjoying the upgrades.

1 ReplyHaven't touched it in awhile since I beat the E4 but it's definitely my favorite Pokemon game. Caught a shiny Slowpoke during my playthrough and evolved it into Slowbro. Trying to caught Zapdos atm. Couldn't care less about natures and all that crap.

I've enjoyed what little progression I've made. I've got almost 80 hours in this game, and not gotten to the second gym... damn shinies won't hatch. ; _ ;

Luck. Goodra level 55 (calm nature) Dragalge level 68 (calm nature) <--- Got it in a trade from my brother's Y Talonflame level 66 (docile nature) <-- didnt feel like getting a good nature for it and just used the first fletchling I found. Xerneas level 59 (timid nature) Was a BITCH to get. I restarted over 50 times. Am I good for the league? I am almost there. Planning on catching Trevenant and Noibat to get Noivern.

3 RepliesThe story is a worse than Black and White, which is to be expected. (Team Flare isn't very convincing.) The starters are somehow worse than Unova, if that's even possible. Greninja is the only tolerable one, at least, for me. Chestnaut looks horrible, and Delphox is by far the ugliest Pokémon. But everything else is an improvement. The game offers so many diverse teams and type match-ups. While initially, I was skeptical on the whole "Fairy Type", I'm actually really enjoying their moveset and stats. It brigs Dragon down a peg (which will undoubtedly, lower their usage in competitive play, something I greatly appreciate.) Mega evolution is incredible. While Lucario is underpowered, the inclusion of his mega form and swords dance makes him incredibly OP. I wish you could choose to make them stay mega evolved, however. The only other problem I have with the game is that the Pokémon don't follow you like in SS/HG. I miss that. Solid 8.5/10. My favourite Pokémon game since Silver.

Graphics are nice. Story is pretty meh so far. Characters are somewhat good (the character models, however, are amazing). None of the new pokemon are that great, but there a few that look pretty cool. I like that you can customize what your character looks like -- best new feature, imo. The massive gap from the 2nd gym to third gym was annoying. I like it, but definitely not better than Gen V.

I have only got one gym badge so far; I'm at the part after you get past the Snorlax. I agree that the graphics amazing, and I also like the addition of walking diagonally and rollerblading. I like a few of the new Pokemon designs as well.

Amazing. Definitely looking at goty for me, and possibly one of my favourite games of all time. Almost finished the main game, doing the eighth gym soon.
