Friday I put my two weeks notice in at the job i just got (and hate). But yesterday i emailed my supervisor and told him I wouldn't be able to make it to work today, and he said it was my responsibility to get my shifts covered. I didn't get them covered and tonight when I don't show up I'll get fired. What are the negative side affects of this?

No job reference. Otherwise -blam!- the boss. Go shit in the top drawer of his desk.

Getting demoted or fired.

Your next potential employer will ask you where you last worked. You'll either have to lie and tell him that you didn't work anywhere during that time, which won't make you look good. Or you'll have to fess up to the job and he'll contact your previous boss to find out why you left. Again, making you look bad.

What do you think?

Can't use them as a reference cause the guy will say you sucked.

No reference for you.

Well... You get fired, have no job, have no income, have no money, have no house, have no food, die. Yes, you f.uck up royally. No wait if you didn't realise and it is your first offense then why the hell can't they let you off with a warning?
