release date complaint
I personally think destiny's release date is a little ridiculous. I mean if its gonna take that long to make its ok but I think its had enough time to spread the word. so as soon as it's good and ready (no rush) then it should be released I mean it's been a good while for popularity. but I just cant wait 9 more months. if you agree try to spread the word bungie isn't the kind of company to ignore their fans.

I'm pretty sure there isn't an official release date yet. Whatever you saw must have been a place-holder. So don't worry, there's still hope in an earlier release date. And given the large quantity of gameplay that Bungie has shown, it can't be too far off.

Don't worry, they'll have gigantic DLC drops called "COMET" every year, starting late 2014, supposedly they are so action packed we will happily wait until the next full Destiny game is released (read the Bungie/Activision Contract)

People are so dumb, the date June 30, 2014 means nothing, just cause u saw it on gamestops site doesn't mean thats the real one, they just put it as that cause they have to put something, so they just put a rough estimate on when its coming out, which I'm sure will be much sooner than that

This is not any sort of valid complaint... Launching a game that takes the entire company to produce is not a simple task. There's way to much to do, and releasing it before they're ready will just result in failure. Go ask square-enix how that first go at Final Fantasy 14 went. I'm not certain if they'll make this current release date with as far out as it is. I'd even expect it to get pushed back a few months if things develop slower than projected. The only things that are worth doing are things that are worth taking the time to do right.

I definitely agree with some of what you say. I hate waiting and I've already been waiting for what seems forever for Destiny (basically since Reach, and when mean Destiny i really just mean for the next Bungie game) but Deej and other Bungie people are still saying theyre in pre-alpha stage right now. I personally would rather Bungie get the game right rather than release it as soon as they can. Besides there are always Betas to look foward to ;)
