Creepiest things that have happened to you.
Well I was setting traps out in a field at my cabin and a few hours later I returned and found that they were sucessful and caught a rabbit.
This was at midnight and it is 3 miles away from the cabin.
But then I started to hear coyotes howling and there was lots of them...
I made it home safely but boy it was a long and erie walk back or shall I say run.
EDIT: Wow I never expected this to be so popular!
Sad thing is, that Halo3mnky was just an account I made to bug Halo2mnky, If only I created this thread on my main account. So I may receive the credit for this there.

Being the idiot I am, it took me awhile. I finally found them and this super religious dude appears out of nowhere. I swear to god he just appeared. He walks up to me, and ask me if I knew this bible verse, I forget what the name was. It was like "in the beginning God created" something like that. (I'm not religious so I wouldn't know). Then, some guy who looked [i]exactly[/i] like him, and I mean [i]exactly[/i], and told me to repeat the phrase. After I repeated it, I ran like hell. It was the most awkward, creepiest thing to happen to me. (._.)

The story I am about to tell you caused me to have arachnophobia and every time I see a spider pic I get nightmares or I just don't sleep. When I was a kid, I used to wake up in the middle of the night to play with my brother or by myself if he was not awake - odd, I know. I would use the bed sheets to make a circle around me and I would pretend that I was a king of a land and that no one must come and destroy my kingdom. I did this for several nights, until one night. I was awake and a swarm of spiders came to attack me. It lasted for a while, all i did was trying to push them away from my bed. It lasted for a good while, until they stopped coming. The thing is, I am not sure if it was a dream or an actual event. Therefore, I am an arachnophobic. To proof this, when I entered in my teens I saw that movie of giant spiders - forgot the name of it - and I couldn't. I just couldn't. I watched once. Never seen it again. [spoiler]don't get me wrong. I think spiders are one of the world's most interesting creatures. I just can't stand them to see them. [/spoiler]

After passing by the closet on my way downstairs, an arm reaches out and yanks me in. I was frantic, but was then surprised to see that it was my mom who pulled me in. 8 RepliesI one time went to my relatives house next to a swamp and we heard wolves howling that sounded like it was getting closer. Cousin Tim went out to go find them to kill with a rifle. He did not return that night so in the morning we went to go find him. All we found was blood and a bent up broken gun. Later in the night time, I heard a screeching sound so I looked outside the window and staring right at me was a creature standing at least eight feet tall that was covered in thick moss with rows of sharp jagged teeth. Behind the maw of this thing was two small black ovals that must have been the eyes of it. My cousins came downstairs to see what was happening and the beast broke through the window and bit the head off of cousin Phil then with razor sharp claws it tore open cousin Linda. I quickly jumped out the window afraid to see what would happen to the others and I ran and ran until I found a highway that I got a taxi to take me home to where I live which I will not tell where. I still have nightmares about this "Swamp Monster".

So we did it at my friends house Cuz you could either release or kinect and I'm NOT taking a Chance of releasing something in my house. Then my idiot friend said "will I die at the age of 19?" 2 RepliesEdited by abba61: 1/4/2015 4:17:38 PMIt was straight -blam!-ing zombie weather, the kind of fog that lets you only see about 3 meters in any direction and the streetlights just make an Erie glow. I was walking back to my house from a party because I forgot some stuff* at my house around 3:15 in the morning. I hadn't slept in a long time and I was kinda having a episode where I was seeing and hearing imaginary sounds. Either way my adrenaline started to spike, and it literally felt like ice was shooting through my blood. Every hair started to raise on my body. I somehow managed to keep it together until the small bridge over a stream that's about a mile from my house. The bridge is surrounded by thick trees and a small path leads down to the creek bed (I guess it's used for utilities? I think there might be a storm drain opening down there). I swear that I thought I saw someone or something coming up from that path dripping wet and completely silent. I lost my shit and just started sprinting for my life (hell I thought I was) and all throughout I could hear this wet squishing sound behind me, so I thought whatever the thing by the stream was, was following me. So I kept running faster and faster until I got home and opened my front door and closed it faster than I've ever done before. I then herd a thud from the door, screamed, and got a knife and hid in my bathroom (has the strongest door) until daybreak. I have figured out I'm paranoid and mistook many things for something they were not. The squishing sound was my own shoe, I had stepped in puddle, and was echoing off the houses on the street. While the thud on the door was actually my own foot banging into it from my side. I didn't notice this because I was so pumped up on adrenaline, but either way I'm done walking around at night.

3 RepliesJesus Freak at the local fair once asked me when I was saved and gave me one of those cards with bible verses on them. Haven't gone back since. Lately there's been people standing on the side of the roads with crosses too. It's terrifying for some reason because they just keep... [i]smiling[/i] at me. And standing there. *shivers*
