How arre we "Speeding things up"
I hear all this crap about making species die sooner than they should or warming up the planet faster, but how do we know it's not meant to happen that way?
How do we know that these animal won't die at the same time in a different time line with different circumstances or the planet warms up around now even if the industrial revolution never happened?
We have nothing to base that on except for the past but even then we cannot be 100% sure, it's mainly theories I mean how can we know what the temperature was 50,000 years ago and how do we know that clue is 50,000 years old?
It's all crap we cannot prove but used for guilt.

3 Replies99% of all species have become extinct. Seriously, the planets been through a hell of a lot worse than anything we are doing. Plus, I'm 17. By the time I'm old enough to actually make a difference, the situation will already have been decided. As evidence for my non belief, I offer these facts: -the polar ice caps have already shrunk to half their average size, but we have yet to see any related flooding. -the earth goes through natural warming and cooling cycles. We are already on a warming cycle. Anything that is happening now will already be happening regardless of what we do. -we have already surpassed an average of 400 ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere. Global warming is both inevitable and irreversible. Basically, I can do shit all, so I'm not gonna worry about it.
