Depends. Halo style would suffer no hits to accuracy and sights would just function as a zoom mechanic. CoD and battelfield, hipfire suffers large hits to accuracy. I think somewhere in the middle of the two would be nice.

  • I personally feel more comfortable accurately shooting from the hip in halo than accurately looking down the sights in bf3/cod. This might just be because i have played halo longer. I feel like in destiny it will only make a difference when firing long range, and depending on the weapon.

  • Well, in reality its much easier to be good at the game when shooting from the hip is just as accurate as aiming down the sights, which is probably why you (and many others) are more comfortable with it. Having to switch to your sights in CoD/Battlefield makes it much more difficult to accurately shoot at someone just after sprinting or while jumping, which is why you dont see people jumping around like lunatics in CoD/Battlefield, as they do in Halo. Don't get me wrong, Im a huge Halo fan and have probably put more hours into it than CoD/Battlefield combined. However, I would like to see Destiny have a bit more difficulty/realism involved in the shooting mechanics than what we have typically seen from Halo.
