Palmer has to be one of the shittiest characters I've ever read about.

I know right. Such a waste of Jennifer Hale's talents :/ I wish Palmer would just go die in a hole somewhere, she's pretty close to the top of Halo characters on my shit list...I'd love to kill Palmer myself, right after I get done ripping Parangosky's guts out and beating her to death with her own skull.

I dunno. Thorne is just... Bland. Like a robot Gek is the stupid henchman from a power rangers show or something.

In my opinion Thorne has the potential to be a good character, he's kind of bland right now, but as long as they develop him right and don't go down the same road they did with Palmer, he could be a good character...he's the most likeable out of all of the Spartan IV characters I've seen so far at least >_>

I kinda like the scottish girl. She hasn't done anything stupid yet. Palmer, I kinda like, but I can understand the hate. 343 is trying to make her a new Sgt. Johnson, but that is not gonna happen without turing her into Daisy Fitzroy (which actually would be kewl...) She needs more personality and for her attitude to be shot down every mow and then...

The black guy and the Scottish girl seemed pretty ok, I'd be fine with seeing more of them...Demarco and his meat-head buddy though, meh, they weren't that interesting and really didn't seem like people who'd have become Spartans in the first place >_> They felt more like college frat boys :/ Even the most immature or rowdy ODSTs we've seen would be better Spartan candidates than them. She could have been good, I liked her until I started playing Spartan Ops and that got started, they need to tone her down quite a bit and do more than "try to make her look badass"....like the whole looking down on scientists, constantly calling them eggheads, and belittling anyone who wasn't a Spartan got pretty old really quick. I'd like to think I'm more violently opposed to Palmer as she is now than the character herself, because someone could probably improve on her.

Demarco and junior seem to be sone of the worst soldiers ever, in the field and mentally. I see what you mean about Palmer. I hope she meets and gets upstaged kelly or some ONI agent, that'd bring her down :)
