What, the very thought of you being a boy but in the game you were a girl? I play games and don't care much about the avatar. I, however, customize my character to my liking, and I want him to look good. I don't believe that you do it for the heck of it, that's stupid.

If you need a reason, it was good for psychological warfare. Many players, even those who are decent, couldn't stand being killed by a girl multiple times, and thus ruins their focus. It allows me several matches where I mop up the enemy team. And I know it works too. The messages I receive are quite vulgar sometimes.
