Some of you may know Chakas, who was recently banned for two weeks because he posted some unpopular opinions in the "Share some Unpopular Opinions" thread. What he said was quite controversial but I wasn't aware that it was ban worthy. I know for a fact that he doesn't actually believe the things he posted. So why was he banned mods? Was what he said really that bad? Because I don't think it was. Were people really offended so much that he was banned within 5 minutes of posting it?

If enough users wanted them banned, and the mods can see why people wanted them banned, then they will give them a ban. Mods dont just ban like they used to, unless its something pretty bad. But just posting wont get them banned for "spam" like before. ONLY if enough people mark it as spam and the mods can understand why, then they will authorize a ban that the system will give them.
