Well aren't you a smart cookie. Perhaps you could post something a little bit more constructive, such as a feature you feel the OP hasn't covered? He certainly didn't describe much, but what he did describe could be interesting or otherwise important to a new member of our community.

Why should I? How about before hopping on the forums, newcomers research the game on their own? Call me old school, but that makes a lot of sense.

If you were looking into purchasing a game you knew little about wouldn't you prefer to go directly to the forums dedicated to said game? You probably wouldn't based on your response(that's in no way a bad thing), but someone else may. The information presented on these forums may well be more legitimate than any other site. It would be legitimized even further with the inevitable introduction of a game FAQ thread. I'm just saying that not everyone will spend their time scrounging around on multiple websites for scraps of information when they could just come here and find threads such as this.
